Not to his work email. Not to his professional profile.
To an account he barely used anymore. The one attached to his name from before Draxen Global, before the temp contracts, from the years when he was moving between jobs and cities and versions of himself that hadn't quite settled yet.
He almost missed it.
He'd logged in to update contact information for Dr. Yuen's clinic and the message was sitting in the notifications, three days old, sent the morning the statement released.
