Chapter 1 - The Stranger in the Rain

A small Shop Full of Big DreamsIn a quite and simple neighbarhood, where life moved at an unhurried pace, there stood a small house attached to a modest shop. It was not a place that attracted attention because of luxury or modern design. Instead, it was simple, slightly old-fashioned, but full of life and wormth. This shop was the center of a small family's world. Inside this house lived a cheerful and hardworking girl named Nyra with her parents, Mr. Lyrix and Mrs. Elira. They were not rich in money, but they were rich in happiness. Their shop, built within their own house, was their only source of income. It was small, but it was enough to run their life peacefully and happily . Nyra was their only doughter. A sweet, lively, and helpful girl who always supported her parents whenever she could. Even after coming back from school, she never wasted time. She would directly come to the shop and start helping. For her, this was not a burden. It was love. It was family It was home Every day the same routine continued, yet it never felt boring for them because they were together. Nyra would help arrange items on the shelves, while her mother handled the billing counter. Her father took care of managing goods and talking to customers. Their small shop always hold a calm, friendly atmosphere. Customers didn't just come to buy things, they came to talk, to smile, and to feel comfortable. Nyra greeted everyone politely, her soft nature making her instantly likable. "Such a well-mannered gir", an elderly customer once said while leaving. Mrs. Elira looked at Nyra with quiet pride but didn't say much. Her expression said everything she felt inside. As the day slowly moved towards evening, the sunlight began to fade, and a soft golden glow filled the shop. The enviroment became peaceful. Fewer customers were coming in now, and the rush of the day had slowly settled down. Nyra stretched her arms slightly, taking a small break near the counter. Her mother looked at her and asked softly , "Tired?" Nyra quickly shook her head. "Not really...just a little". At that moment, Mr. Lyrix, who had been sitting quietly for a while, suddenly stood up with dromatic energy. He stretched his arms and said loudly; "Ahhh! what a beautiful evening!" Nyra turned toward him with curiosity, Mr. Lyrix continued with full excitement, "I think tonight deserves a celebration!" Nyra's eyes lit up immediately. "Realy papa? That sounds fun!" Mrs. Elira raised her eyebrows slightly, giving them both a warning look, as if she already knew where this was going. But mr. Lyrix ignored it completely . He smilef and said, "Nyra, take some money from the drawer. Go to the nearby shop and bring eggs, cold drinks, and something spicy. We'll have a small family party tonight." Nyra nodded happily without hesitation.. "Okay, papa!" Her excitement was natural. For her, even small things like this felt special. She quickly took the money, stepped out, and took her bicycle. The evening air oitside was soft and pleasant. The sky had started turning into shades of arange and light pink. The roads were calm, and the wind was gentle. Nyra cycled happily, feeling relaxed. The small task she had been given mude her feel responsible and important. She soon reached a nearby shop and bought everything her father had asked for. She carefully placed the items in her bag making sure nothing would fall. After finishing her work, she stepped outside again. But the moment she did, The sky changed. Dark clouds gathered rapidly, as if the weather had decided to shift its mood suddenly. The peaceful evening turned into something heavy and uncertain. Before she cloud even react properly. Heavy rain started pouring down. Nyra immediately rushed toward a small shelter outside a nearby shop. Seriously? She muttered, slightly frustrated but also amused at the sudden change. She stood there under the roof, holding the bag tightly, waiting for the rain to stop. The sound of raindrops hitting the ground filled the entire street. The smell of wet soil rase into the air. Everything felt calm, yet slightly lonely. Nyra watched the rain quietly. She had no choice but to wait, And then.. A boy came and stood beside her. Nyra didn't notice him immediately. She was still looking at the rain. But after a few second, she slightly turned her head. And she paused, The boy standing next to her looked different from everyone else. He was slightly went, his hair messy, and his expression calm and distant. He didn't look worried about the rain at all. He simply stood there, holding a bag above his head. Nyra started at him without realizing it. A small thought crossed her mind. "He...he looks so handsome..." she quickly looked away, slightly embarrassed at her own thought. But curiosity made her look again. The boy didn't speak. He didn't react. He just stood there silently. For a brief moment, he turned his head slightly. Their eyes met. Just a short moment. But enough to create Something strange Inside Nyra's heart. Before anything could happen, the boy suddenly adjusted the bag over his head and ran into the rain disappearing into the distance. Nyra stood still, "...Is he crazy?" She whispered softly. But even after saying that, she couldn't forget his face. The rain slowly started to reduce after some time. Nyra finally decided to return home. When she reached home, her parents were waiting. Mr. Lyrix clapped his hands happily the moment he saw the items. "Yes! party time begins!" Mrs. Elira gave him a strict look, but he quickly change his tone. "Ahh... I mean simple family dinner!" Nyra laughed softly and handed over the items. Soon, the kitchen filled with warmth and activity. Mr lyrix started cooking egg in his funny dramatic way, while Nyra Sat nearby watching him and teasing him. "Papa don't burn it," she said laughing. "I am a professional chef!" He replied proudly. Their laughter filled the house. That night, they ate together as a family, sharing jokes and enjoying a simple but happy meal. And somewhere deep in Nyra's mind... That boy from the rain stayed quietly in her thoughts. Not fully understood. Not fully known. But definitely unforgettable. And that was the beginning of something new in her life.
