Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 : A Boy With Memories That Should Not Exist

The wind carried the scent of salt and wood across the quiet village of Shimotsuki.

A small boy stood at the edge of the training yard, gripping a wooden sword that was far too large for his body.

His name was Kevin.

He was six years old.

And he did not belong in this world.

Kevin stared at his trembling hands.

"...This isn't Earth."

The words slipped out quietly.

Memories that didn't match his body flooded his mind—images of anime, battles, pirates, and a future that had not yet happened.

He knew this place.

This world.

This was the world of One Piece.

He clenched his teeth.

"I got reincarnated..."

Not only that.

He knew the future.

Sky Island.

Wano Country.

Drum Island.

The rise of Monkey D. Luffy.

And the fall of countless people.

"Oi, Kevin!"

A sharp voice interrupted his thoughts.

A girl walked toward him confidently, holding a wooden sword over her shoulder.

Short black hair. Fierce eyes.

It was Shimotsuki Kuina.

"You're spacing out again," she said. "If you fight like that, you'll lose before you even swing."

Kevin smirked faintly.

"You already beat me 27 times today."

Kuina crossed her arms.

"Then make it 28."

The two rushed forward.

Wood clashed against wood.

Kevin's stance was rough—untrained—but his movements had something unusual.

He adapted quickly.

Too quickly.

Kuina narrowed her eyes.

"You're improving again…"

Kevin said nothing.

Inside, he knew why.

"I've seen better fighters… stronger ones…"

Even if only through memories.

Clack!

Kuina struck his wrist.

The sword fell from his hand.

Before he could react—

Thud!

He hit the ground.

Again.

"28," Kuina said calmly.

Kevin lay there, breathing heavily.

His arms burned.

His legs shook.

This world wasn't like watching anime.

Pain was real.

Failure was constant.

And strength…

Had to be earned.

From the porch, a man watched silently.

It was Koushirou.

"That boy…" he muttered.

"He learns too fast."

Later that evening…

Kevin sat alone outside, staring at the sky.

The sun dipped below the horizon, painting everything orange.

"I'm weak…"

He tightened his fists.

"I know what's coming… and I'm still weak."

Pirates.

Marines.

Devil Fruits.

Monsters of the sea.

And legends.

If he stayed like this…

He would die before the real story even began.

"I need power…"

Not talent.

Not luck.

Real power.

The kind that changes fate.

A memory flashed.

A fruit.

A dark, terrifying existence.

Something not even in the original story.

Something beyond normal Devil Fruits.

Kevin's eyes darkened.

"If I can get something like that…"

He stood up slowly.

"I won't just survive."

"I'll dominate this world."

But reality hit him immediately.

He looked at his bruised arms.

His bleeding knuckles.

His exhausted body.

"…First, I need to survive tomorrow."

From the distance, Kuina watched him quietly.

"That idiot…"

She turned away.

But a small smile appeared.

"He doesn't give up."

The night grew darker.

Waves crashed softly in the distance.

And somewhere far beyond the island…

Fate had already begun to move.

A Devil Fruit…

One that should not exist…

Was waiting.

Kevin clenched his fists.

Unaware that in just a few days—

His life…

Would be dragged into darkness.
