Chapter 5 - Chapter 5: The Final Stitch

A battle of temporal energy erupted. Kaelen threw "seconds" like daggers, while Elias used his loom-shuttles to weave shields of "centuries." But it was Lyra who ended it. She realized that as a Time-Glitch, she was the key. She was the bridge between the frozen past and the flowing future.

She walked into the heart of the Great Clockwork and merged her glass shadow with the rusted gears. "Weave me into the fabric, Elias," she commanded.

With tears in his eyes, Elias threw his final golden thread. He didn't just repair the clock; he wove Lyra into the very essence of time.

The gears turned with a thunderous roar. The glass city melted into water, the parchment sky turned a brilliant blue, and the fragments of Aethelgard snapped back into a single, flowing reality. Kaelen's daughter disappeared into the past, finally at peace.

Elias returned to his lighthouse. The loom was quiet now. He looked down at the world and saw people living, aging, and moving forward. And sometimes, when the wind blew just right, he could hear the sound of bells—a reminder that Lyra wasn't gone. She was the rhythm of the ticking clock, the silent force that kept the world moving, one beautiful second at a time.
