Chapter 4 - Ch. 4 Spinning The lottery Ticket

Ethan frowned slightly as he processed everything.

"So… cultivation makes me strong. So what's the use of my stats like Strength, Stamina, Agility, Endurance, Intelligence, Charm? Why do I need them? Can't I just get everything from cultivation?" he asked.

The system replied calmly.

[Cultivation and stats operate on different layers of growth.]

A brief pause followed.

[Cultivation defines your realm, energy capacity, and authority over laws, and it also naturally enhances physical attributes such as strength, stamina, agility, and endurance within this world. However, for this world's inhabitants, cultivation is the primary and only method of growth.]

[You are different—due to the Villain System, you possess a separate stat framework in addition to cultivation enhancement. This results in dual reinforcement: cultivation provides baseline physical and energy growth, while your system stats independently amplify the same attributes, creating a stacked effect where both sources strengthen your body simultaneously.]

[In simple terms, Host possesses double attribute scaling. Cultivation naturally enhances your entire being—body, energy flow, and perception—allowing your potential to increase beyond normal human limits." and it also increases physical abilities such as strength, stamina, agility, and endurance as a standard effect of realm progression. In addition to this, the Villain System provides a separate stat framework that independently increases the same attributes. As a result, both cultivation and system stats stack together, meaning Host receives two layers of enhancement for the same physical parameters.]

Ethan narrowed his eyes slightly as he processed the explanation.

"So in short… I have double attributes from both cultivation and my stats section?"

[ Yes Master]

"Wow Crazy cheat code" Ethan Smiled

[Even if Host and an opponent share the same cultivation realm, Host will always exhibit higher combat performance]

[Result: even if the opponent is at the same cultivation realm, they will feel as though they are fighting someone one realm higher due to overwhelming Double attribute in terms of Physical Prowness]

Ethan tilted his head slightly.

"Okay… then how do I get skills? I know combat skills are my powers, and seduction skills are… well, related to that. So can I buy things from a shop or something?"

A soft chime echoed in his mind.

[Skill acquisition methods are available through multiple channels.]

---

[1. Skill Draw System: You can obtain random skills through designated Cuck Lottery Draw Tickets. Host receives 2 Cuck Lottery Draw Tickets for every cultivation realm breakthrough, allowing a total of up to 20 tickets across the full 10-stage cultivation system

[2. Quest Rewards: Completing system-assigned missions grants fixed or rare skill unlocks]

[3. System Shop: Skills, techniques, and upgrades can be purchased using Cuck points]

Ethan focused his mind inward.

"Storage."

A faint interface flickered in his vision.

[Opening System Storage…]

A single item appeared, suspended in a translucent display.

[Cuck Lottery Draw Ticket ×1]

[Healing

He stared at it for a moment. One chance. One roll.

Seduction skills… or combat skills.

His gaze drifted to the dense jungle around him—unknown sounds echoing between the trees, unseen presence lurking somewhere beyond sight.

A faint smirk formed on his lips.

"No need for that side right now…"

He exhaled slowly.

"I'm already good enough in bed."

His eyes sharpened.

"In a place like this… For now To escape this jungle I need power."

Without hesitation, he made his decision.

"Spin in Combat Skills section."

"[Skill Draw Confirmed.]"

The ticket shattered instantly into glowing fragments.

"[Initiating Combat Skill Generation…]"

The air around him suddenly grew heavier, as if pressure itself increased.

Leaves stopped moving.

Even distant sounds seemed to dull.

"[Probability Field Activated…]"

"[Rolling…]"

"[Rolling…]"

A strange pulse spread through Ethan's body—like something was trying to imprint itself directly onto his instincts.

Then—

A sharp, heavy surge slammed into his mind.

"[Result Locked.]"

A burning symbol etched itself briefly into his vision before fading.

"[Skill Acquired: Predator Instinct (Combat Skill)]"

Ethan's pupils slightly contracted.

And immediately—

The world changed.

He could feel everything.

The direction of every sound in the jungle.

The slight vibrations in the ground.

Even the subtle intent of nearby lifeforms—whether they were calm, alert, or hunting.

It wasn't vision.

It was instinct.

The system voice followed calmly.

"[Predator Instinct: Enhances combat awareness, danger prediction, and target tracking. Allows user to detect hostile intent and weak points instinctively.]"

A pause.

"[Effect: User gains overwhelming advantage in ambush, survival, and close combat scenarios.]"

The jungle no longer felt random.

It felt like a map.

And Ethan stood at the center of it.

"That's a really good skill… I must've gotten lucky. Maybe the women I saved from loneliness prayed for me, hehe."

Ethan exhaled slowly and started walking deeper into the jungle.

The air grew heavier with every step. The silence wasn't natural anymore—it felt… patient. Like something was waiting.

"Predator Instinct…"

His senses sharpened instantly.

Then he felt it.

A presence.

Fast. Heavy. Hungry.

A low growl rolled through the trees.

From the shadows, a massive tiger-like beast stepped into view. Its fur was dark crimson with black vein-like patterns pulsing across its body, as if molten energy flowed beneath its skin. Its eyes locked onto Ethan like he was nothing more than prey.

"[Identification: Crimson Vein Sabertooth]"

The beast crouched low, muscles tensing.

Before Ethan could fully react—

It moved.

A blur of red and black shot forward.

"Shit—!"

Ethan barely managed to draw his normal sword in time, raising it defensively.

CLANG!

The Sword and the Sabertooth Claws Collided.

The impact sent shockwaves up his arm. His feet dragged back across the ground, carving lines into the dirt.

Too strong.

Another strike came instantly.

Ethan twisted his body, barely avoiding the claw that tore through the air where his chest had been a second ago. He countered on instinct—

And managed to land a clean cut across the beast's shoulder.

Sparks of energy flickered from the wound.

The Crimson Vein Sabertooth roared in anger.

But it wasn't over.

It lunged again—faster, angrier.

Ethan clicked his teeth.

"Tch… I don't have time for this!"

Just as the beast's claws came down—

A voice cut through the chaos.

"Left!"

A man's shout.

Ethan reacted instantly, stepping aside.

BOOM!

A heavy strike—infused with raw energy—slammed into the beast, knocking it slightly off balance.

From the trees, two figures emerged.

A man and a woman.

Both older than Ethan. Battle-worn. Their clothes were torn, but their presence was steady—experienced.

The man held a blood-stained blade, breathing heavily.

The woman stood beside him, hands glowing faintly with energy, ready to support.

The man glanced at Ethan.

"You're alive? In this part of the jungle?"

The woman didn't waste time.

"Don't stand there—move with us!"

The Crimson Vein Sabertooth roared again, turning its killing intent toward all three of them.

Now it wasn't just hunting one prey.

It had three

The Crimson Vein Sabertooth roared again, preparing to lunge—but suddenly, it hesitated.

Its glowing eyes shifted between Ethan and the two newcomers.

The man tightened his grip on his blade. The woman's energy gathered at her fingertips.

Three targets. All showing resistance. All dangerous.

The beast's instincts flickered.

A low growl rumbled from its throat… but instead of attacking again, it slowly stepped back.

Its muscles tensed once more—

Then it turned.

"Wait—it's retreating?" the man muttered in disbelief.

The Sabertooth let out one final, warning roar that shook the trees.

Then it vanished into the dense jungle shadows, moving so fast it left only broken branches and crushed ground behind.

Silence fell.

Only the sound of heavy breathing remained.

The man lowered his weapon slightly. "That thing… it actually backed off."

The woman exhaled slowly, her glow fading. "It chose survival over a risky fight…"

Ethan watched the direction it disappeared, his grip still tight on his sword.

The silence lingered for a moment after the Crimson Vein Sabertooth disappeared into the jungle shadows.

Only the sound of rustling leaves and heavy breathing remained.

The man slowly lowered his blade, still alert. The woman let her glowing energy fade from her hands.

Then the man looked at Ethan.

"…You're not from around here."

Ethan didn't respond immediately, still scanning the jungle with sharp focus.

The woman stepped forward first, her expression calmer but cautious.

"You handled yourself well for someone alone in the Gravemire edge zone."

The man gave a short nod, then sheathed his weapon.

"I'm Kael Viremont."

He gestured slightly toward the woman beside him.

"And this is my wife—Lyria Viremont."

Lyria gave a small nod, her eyes briefly assessing Ethan.

"We were on a hunting mission when we sensed the fight," she added. "Didn't expect to find a lone boy holding his ground against a Crimson Vein Sabertooth."

Kael crossed his arms slightly.

"Now tell us… who are you? And why are you alone in a place like this?"
