The room was quiet.

For several days, the room had remained almost completely silent except for the occasional sound of medical equipment and the footsteps of the doctor and nurse assigned to monitor her.
After the fake nurse had attempted to kill her in the hospital, Kevin had made a decision.
He could no longer trust the hospital.
Within hours of the incident, he had arranged for Loretta to be moved to the Goodman Estate under heavy security.
Only a handful of people knew where she was. He had deliberately set up the scene of her death to better investigate the accident.
