Rasa handed the outline to Uchiha Hanazuki.
Hanazuki took it, read through it once, and her eyes immediately lit up.
Even though it was only an outline, she could already sense that this story would be quite good.
"Uchiha Hanazuki, any problems?"
"No problem at all!"
Writing a story from someone else's outline could not really be called her own work.
But such an excellent outline—
Hanazuki was genuinely interested in it.
"Then I'll leave it to you. Within three days, I need the first chapter completed."
"Yes, Kazekage-sama."
On Shaji's side, he too was working hard to gather suitable material.
Six days later, a storage scroll was delivered into Rasa's hands.
Inside the scroll was a large stack of freshly printed newspapers.
"At last. It's finished."
Rasa looked at the scroll in his hand and smiled.
Ever since the Hyuga Clan had publicly declared their break with the Kaguya Clan, the speed at which he gained points had slowed considerably. Even though quite a large number of people were still playing Ninja Kill—
there were far fewer people paying attention to the Hyuga rumor itself.
When they saw the words on the backs of the cards now, most of them thought first of the split between the Hyuga and Kaguya Clans.
"Two clans with over a century of ties... and it ended just like that."
"No one knows who was right and who was wrong."
"The Kaguya Clan had a point. But the Hyuga Clan seemed to have a point too."
"In the end, only they themselves probably know the truth."
Hyuga Yamaaki was very satisfied with his own decision.
"Hizashi, take a good look."
Yamaaki said, "The emotions within the clan have already settled down. And Hokage-sama has even rewarded our clan."
"The Hyuga Clan is better off now than before."
"This is what I told you—don't focus on right and wrong. Focus on gain and loss."
"If a choice benefits the Hyuga Clan more, then that is the choice we should make."
"If the Hyuga had rebelled, would we still be living such good days now?"
"Look at the Uchiha. What state are they in now?"
"Scattered in defeat. Hiding everywhere. Like stray dogs."
"If our Hyuga Clan had rebelled, our situation might have been even worse than the Uchiha's current one."
Hyuga Hiashi nodded.
"Father... you're right."
And yet, something in his chest still felt wrong.
If a choice benefited the clan, did that automatically make it right?
Why did the Hyuga have to remain in Konoha forever?
Things might still be acceptable now—but what about the future?
If a future Hokage or the village's upper echelon treated the Hyuga poorly, then would the Hyuga still have to remain in Konoha regardless?
Would that dead main-branch member simply die for nothing?
And what about the Byakugan in Kirigakure?
Those questions kept circling in Hiashi's mind.
But he could not find the answer.
Yatagarasu flew high through the sky.
Rasa stood on its back.
Strapped across his back was an enormous scroll.
Shinobi World Major Events Weekly.
That was the name Rasa had chosen for the newspaper.
For the very first issue, he still decided to use the most simple, direct, and forceful method possible to build its fame.
Namely—
he would distribute it personally from the sky.
There were three primary drop locations.
The first was the battlefield between Konoha and Iwagakure.
The second was the battlefield between Sunagakure and Kirigakure.
The third was Konoha itself.
Besides those, there was also a second route.
Strictly speaking, that would be the regular route from now on, with Sunagakure's shinobi delivering the papers to various locations.
These included, but were not limited to, the major towns of the Land of Wind, the capital of the Land of Fire, the capital of the Land of Earth, Amegakure, Kusagakure, and so on.
After this first issue, only that second route would remain. Rasa would no longer personally act.
"What's that?"
A Hyuga shinobi looked up and faintly caught sight of a black dot high overhead.
"At this distance, if it still looks that big, then whatever's up there must be huge."
The Konoha ninja beside him immediately grew nervous.
"It can't be a meteor, can it?"
"No. There's chakra coming from it. It feels like some kind of living creature."
"What kind of creature can fly that high and still be so huge?"
Very quickly, the Konoha shinobi arrived at the answer.
"Sunagakure... the Kazekage Rasa's summoning beast—Yatagarasu!"
Over the recent period, Yatagarasu's name had spread throughout the entire shinobi world.
Its massive body.
Its ability to fly at extreme altitude.
Its explosive egg bombardment.
Countless people coveted such a summon.
Some even believed Yatagarasu's value exceeded that of the Sannin's summons.
And the Sannin's summons were already among the highest-level existences in the world.
But still—
they could not fly.
The ability to fly was simply too special.
In the entire shinobi world, the number of shinobi capable of flight could be counted on one hand.
"So that's Rasa?"
The Konoha shinobi's expression changed.
"What does Rasa want?"
"Is he here to ambush us?"
Not a single Konoha shinobi would naively assume Yatagarasu had appeared just for show.
Not when Sunagakure and Konoha were still enemies.
"I know I shouldn't say this, but I still can't understand why Hokage-sama made an alliance with Kirigakure."
"It clearly does Konoha no good."
Rasa glanced down below.
"This should be enough. This is the spot."
Then he opened the storage scroll.
A huge number of newspapers appeared.
Each one had been folded and placed inside a padded outer wrap to ensure that even after falling from great height, they would not burst apart and ruin the reading experience.
"What's that?"
"It's coming down!"
"So many!"
"There's a whole swarm of them!"
"Could they be rumor cards again?"
Konoha's ninja hated rumor cards with a passion.
"It was exactly like this with Iwagakure before. They dropped rumor cards from high altitude."
"If it weren't for those rumor cards, the Uchiha rebellion might never have happened."
"Konoha's situation would be much better now."
No matter how much they hated or resented the Uchiha, Konoha ninja would never deny their strength.
The Uchiha rebellion had not only removed a powerful force from Konoha—it had also, before their defection, killed many Konoha shinobi and caused substantial casualties.
"So Rasa already copied Sunagakure's Ninja Kill cards to sow discord between the Hyuga Clan and Konoha... and now he's even copied Iwagakure's high-altitude airdrop method too?"
"That's shameless!"
"It's all Iwagakure's fault!"
But when the things finally landed, none of them could resist taking a look before destroying them.
Whether it was the kunoichi cards or the Ninja Kill cards, quite a few people in Konoha liked reading and playing with them.
What they hated were the rumors printed on them.
"These aren't cards!"
"It's the Shinobi World Major Events Weekly!"
"There are so many words on it!"
"It's all about the recent events of the shinobi world. And the most eye-catching article is about Lord Danzo!"
"Hurry up and see what it says about Lord Danzo!"
