Chapter 5 - The Moment He Didn’t Hold Back

⚡ The First Move

Night didn't fall like usual.

It pressed down.

The city outside Darian Korr's home felt too quiet—like it was holding its breath.

Inside…

Lina was drawing on a piece of paper, tongue slightly out in concentration.

Darian stood near the window.

Still.

But alert.

Something was wrong.

He always knew before it arrived.

🖤 The Kidnapping Attempt Begins

A soft click.

Not loud enough for Lina to notice.

But enough for him.

The lights flickered once.

Then—

The windows went dark.

Lina looked up slightly.

"…Hey?"

Darian didn't move.

That was the only warning.

Then—

Glass didn't break.

It vanished.

Three figures entered.

Silent.

Coordinated.

Not random attackers.

Professionals.

Lina stood up immediately.

"Uh… scary man?"

Darian spoke once.

"Don't move."

And for the first time…

his voice wasn't just cold.

It was dangerous.

⚡ Darian Unleashed (no hesitation anymore)

The first attacker moved toward Lina.

That was his mistake.

Darian crossed the distance in an instant.

No hesitation.

No warning.

Just impact.

One strike.

The attacker dropped.

Another came from the side—

Darian twisted, grabbed, threw.

The room barely had time to register motion.

It wasn't a fight.

It was removal.

Efficient.

Final.

🌸 Lina's Fear (first crack of reality)

Lina stood frozen.

"…Are you okay?"

Darian didn't answer immediately.

Because he wasn't looking at her.

He was checking the surroundings.

Confirming.

Ensuring.

Protecting.

Then finally:

"Yes."

Short.

Controlled.

But something had changed.

Because now—

he wasn't just reacting.

He was preventing forever.

🖤 The Mother Appears (first direct contact)

Outside.

A black vehicle stopped near the street.

A woman stepped out.

Same one from before.

But now she was no longer just observing.

She was present.

And Darian felt it instantly.

Their eyes met across distance.

No introduction needed.

She spoke through a communication channel:

"You should have returned her."

Darian didn't respond.

She continued:

"She is not safe with you."

A pause.

Then—

"And you are not safe with her."

Lina stepped slightly behind Darian unconsciously.

That movement changed everything.

🌑 The Truth Revealed

The woman finally said it.

Softly.

Almost like regret.

"Lina is not an ordinary child."

Silence.

Even the wind felt heavier.

"She is part of a long-term containment lineage. Her existence is tied to systems you were never meant to interfere with."

Darian's eyes narrowed slightly.

So it wasn't abandonment.

It was containment failure.

She wasn't lost.

She was released by mistake.

⚡ Darian's Final Line (no return anymore)

He looked at Lina behind him.

Small.

Quiet now.

Not talkative anymore.

Just waiting.

Then he turned back to the woman.

And said:

"…Then she's not going anywhere."

🌸 Brothers Return (this time permanently)

Before anything else could escalate—

BEEP.

Door opened again.

Both brothers walked in.

Stopped instantly.

"…Why does it feel like we walked into a war?"

Lina immediately ran to them.

"SCARY PEOPLE CAME IN AGAIN!"

Brother 1: "AGAIN?!"

Brother 2 looked at Darian.

"…You look worse than usual."

Darian: "Leave."

Brother 1: "No."

Silence.

Then—

Brother 2 sighed.

"…We're staying."

Darian: "No."

Brother 2: "Yes."

Lina: "YES."

Darian: "…."

He lost. Quietly. Instantly. Annoyingly.

🌑 Emotional Ending Shift

That night…

The house was no longer empty.

Too many voices.

Too much noise.

Too much life.

Darian stood in the hallway.

Listening.

For the first time…

he didn't feel like the house belonged only to him anymore.

And worse—

he didn't want it back the way it was.

🖤 Final Scene

Lina walked up to him later, sleepy.

She grabbed his sleeve lightly.

"Hey Dari…"

He didn't correct her this time.

"…Don't let them take me."

A pause.

Then Darian answered:

"They won't."

Not a promise.

A certainty.

And somewhere far away…

The woman watching the system screen whispered:

"…It's already too late."
