Chapter 1 - Title: The Boy Who Collected Lost Time

In a quiet town where clocks never ticked too loudly, there lived a boy named Arin who had a very unusual hobby—he collected lost time.

No one knew exactly what "lost time" looked like, but Arin did. He found it in forgotten dreams, unfinished conversations, and moments people wished they could relive. To others, it was invisible. To him, it shimmered like tiny golden threads floating in the air.

Every evening, just as the sun melted into the horizon, Arin would walk through the narrow streets carrying a small glass jar. Whenever someone sighed, saying, "I wish I had more time," a thread would appear. Arin would gently catch it and place it into his jar.

One day, Arin noticed something strange. The golden threads were fading.

Worried, he visited the oldest person in town, a woman named Elira, who was said to remember things even before they happened.

"Elira," Arin asked, "why is the lost time disappearing?"

She smiled softly and said, "Because people have stopped noticing it. Time doesn't disappear when it's lost—it disappears when it's ignored."

That night, Arin made a decision. Instead of collecting lost time, he would return it.

The next morning, something magical happened.

A tired shopkeeper suddenly remembered why he loved his work. A little girl laughed again after weeks of silence. Two old friends met and spoke like no time had passed at all.

And Arin?

For the first time, he didn't carry his jar.

Because he realized something important—

Time was never meant to be kept.

It was meant to be felt.

From that day on, the town changed. People slowed down. They listened more. They lived more.

And though no one ever saw the golden threads again…

They felt them in every moment they chose not to waste.
