Chapter 2 - Chapter 1: Transmigration and Lost Memories

In a simple wooden house in the village of Kalle, the cool morning air slipped through the gaps in the windows.

An eighteen-year-old young man lay motionless on a plain wooden bed.

His face was pale, his lips dry, and cold sweat still glistened on his temples.

Suddenly, his eyes snapped open wide.

'Where am I?'

That was the first thought that crossed Leon's mind the moment consciousness returned to him.

He looked around in confusion. The wooden room was neat and tidy, filled with a refreshing natural scent—completely different from the polluted city air he was used to breathing.

He got up slowly and walked toward the window. Outside, he saw trees and other houses.

But the moment he caught his own reflection in the slightly blurry window glass, his body froze.

That face… wasn't his.

Sharp eyebrows, deep black eyes, smooth white skin with a soft, almost childlike youthfulness. A strong jawline that still carried the beauty of adolescence. His entire body had changed completely.

Gone was the sagging belly and the skinny arms from before.

Now he looked slim, well-proportioned, and… extremely handsome.

"Did I transmigrate?" he muttered hesitantly.

After thinking about it, he remembered being hit by a truck… wasn't this the standard way people went to another world?

'In other words, I stole the high school girl's chance to come to another world?' he thought.

Leon shook his head gently, pushing the thought aside for a moment.

"Besides, I'm already dead. And I saved her life. There's no way I can go back to Earth and return this 'ticket,' right?"

He let out a long sigh and sat down on the edge of the bed.

"By the way… this is kind of boring," he muttered, staring at the wooden ceiling.

As a modern person, he was used to killing time with his phone, games, or anything else. Just sitting in silence with nothing to do felt like torture.

Leon pushed aside the thin blanket covering his body and tried to get off the bed.

The moment his feet touched the floor, his knees buckled. His new body still felt weak.

"Damn it…"

He lost his balance and fell forward.

Thud!

His body slammed against the wooden floor with a loud sound. Pain shot through his knees and palms.

"That… really hurts," he groaned, wincing.

The noise of the fall was loud enough to catch the attention of someone else in the house.

"Leon?!"

It was a woman's voice—soft, yet clearly filled with joy.

Honestly, Leon never expected the original owner of this body to have the same name as him.

But more than that, he felt a little nervous because he wasn't ready to face the original owner's family.

Especially since Leon had inherited none of the previous owner's memories or feelings. If he had, he could have easily pretended and fooled everyone.

Quick footsteps approached, and the door swung open.

A beautiful adult woman entered the room with a worried expression.

She immediately knelt beside Leon and gently helped him up.

For a brief moment, her warm, soft body pressed against his side as she supported his arm. The sweet natural scent of her hair and skin made Leon feel slightly dizzy.

Carefully, she helped him back onto the bed and sat on the edge beside him.

"Leon, you're awake?" Her voice was gentle, but there was a clear tremor of happiness in it. Her slender fingers still gripped his arm tightly, as if afraid he might fall again.

"Eh…?" When the woman spoke, Leon snapped back to reality and finally took a proper look at her.

He could only stare at her in silence for a moment.

The woman appeared to be in her early thirties, with soft light-brown hair cascading gently over her shoulders.

Her face was breathtakingly beautiful—if she were on Earth, she could easily become a top-tier actress.

Her body was mature and voluptuous, with a slim waist that contrasted sharply with her full, seductive hips.

The simple yet tight dress she wore only accentuated her alluring curves even more.

But what caught Leon's attention the most was the moment she bent down to help him.

Her large, full white breasts hung heavily with gravity, looking even heavier, longer, and more eye-catching.

Leon quickly averted his gaze, trying to control the sudden wandering thoughts.

"Mom was so worried," the woman said again, her voice full of concern.

"You had a high fever since last night. You even lost consciousness. Mom was scared you wouldn't wake up again…"

As she spoke, her face looked sad, her eyes glistening with tears that threatened to fall at any moment.

Seeing her expression, Leon felt strangely uncomfortable—especially because this woman was the mother of the original body's owner.

With a soft, slightly hesitant voice, he said, "Mom… don't worry. I'm fine."

The woman's reaction was completely unexpected.

She froze for a second. Her face shifted rapidly between joy, confusion, and sorrow. With a trembling voice, she asked again,

"What did you just call me?"

"Mom?" Leon answered, still a little confused.

"Again!"

"Mom?"

"One more time!"

"Umm… Mom?"

Suddenly the woman burst into loud, joyful laughter.

"Hahahahaha… Finally! Finally!"

Leon could only stare at her with a strange look on his face. His mind raced. 'Is this woman… crazy?'

After laughing for a while, her laughter gradually faded. She looked at Leon with eyes still wet, but her expression slowly turned to confusion.

"Leon… you… you really called me Mom just now?"

Leon stayed silent.

The woman gripped his hand even tighter, her voice shaking slightly.

"You… remember me? Do you remember who Mom is?"

Leon remained quiet even longer. He didn't know how to answer.

Finally, he shook his head slowly.

"I… don't remember anything."

The woman froze. The smile on her face vanished instantly.

"Leon… what do you mean?"
