Chapter 45 - Chapter 45: Illusory Creator

The gorgeous yet terrifying tide of monsters, burning buildings, and torrential rain still existed, but beneath them, Lilith saw another picture.

In the air, countless pink light spots as fine as dust permeated the surroundings.

They were like living spores, slowly floating, aggregating, and splitting.

Those endless monsters were precisely illusions quickly materialized by these spores after absorbing the chaotic and fearful spiritual energy of the environment, as well as some real t-virus pheromones!

They were mixed among the real mutated zombie swarms, making it difficult to distinguish between truth and falsehood.

As long as they were not discovered or seen through, the corpses they condensed would not dissipate, weaving an illusory world that could never be debunked.

And the source of these Spiritual Spores faintly pointed to a certain location in the southwest of the City, where a calm yet massive spiritual force sat quietly like a mother spider at the center of a web.

"Found you."

Lilith bared her teeth, revealing sharp, snow-white fangs. It wasn't a smile, but the instinctive killing intent of a predator locking onto its prey.

She no longer paid any attention to the illusory monsters that continued to swarm toward her.

Opening her bloody maw, an Ultrasound mixed with Xenomorph-like hissing and bat-like shrieks suddenly rippled out. An invisible force directly tore those Spiritual Spores apart... On the southwest side of Raccoon City, atop a church bell tower that had not yet completely collapsed.

Sitting on the shoulder of a Reinforced Tyrant, Alice's slender body trembled slightly.

Her brow beneath the hood furrowed slightly, and her closed eyelashes quivered.

Through the network of Spiritual Spores spread throughout the City, she could clearly sense that in the area where Lilith was located, the Spiritual Spores were being crushed, disintegrated, and dissipated by some force at an alarming speed.

"I've been discovered... much faster than expected."

Alice whispered to herself. No panic could be heard in her voice, only a slight annoyance that her plan had been disrupted.

She had no intention of becoming enemies with Lilith.

The opponent was a Hunter with an SSS-Level Talent, and one who had chosen the Slaughtering Path at that.

Individual strength went without saying; even if she used all her means, it would be impossible to defeat the opponent.

She had set up the illusionary realm only because she wanted to temporarily isolate Lilith, this excessively fierce and brutal beast, from the main battlefield to buy time for G-William and the Pursuer to evolve.

This was to better nurture her own Guards.

But now, the illusion had been seen through.

Given the tyrannical combat style Lilith displayed, once she broke free, the mere act of trapping her in an illusion would be reason enough to start a war.

"I can't let it come over yet."

Alice took a deep breath and looked toward Lilith's direction.

She leaped lightly from the Tyrant's shoulder, her bare feet stepping onto the damp, cold stone bricks of the bell tower.

Her hood swayed slightly in the night wind, revealing the lower half of her pale face and pale pink lips.

She closed her eyes and cupped her hands in front of her as if holding an invisible crystal ball, her breathing becoming long and slow.

A pink halo, difficult to discern with the naked eye, began to ripple around Alice.

She was mobilizing an even greater spiritual force, gathering millions of Spiritual Spores to scatter throughout Raccoon City. The tyrannical aura within the City became the best nourishment for breeding them.

Having truly decided to go to war, Alice knew that facing an SSS-Level Corpse Slaughter Hunter, any further reservation would only land her current self in deep danger.

So this time, she directly used her full power.

Newborn Spiritual Spores quickly filled the previous gaps, becoming even denser and more perfect.

Having chosen the Hive Lord path, by relying on the exclusive skills of the Hive Lord path and the combination of dreams and reality, as long as the enemy could not break through the dreamscape and could not find her true body...

In this world constructed by her, they could only be swallowed by endless spiritual creations!

And in this world, she was the Creator!

If given enough time to construct this dreamscape that combined illusion and reality, even if Lilith discovered she was in an illusion, wanting to escape from it would cost a massive price.

But the time spent constructing this world was too short. The current Alice only wanted to rely on the illusion to stall Lilith and buy enough time for evolution.

At the other end of the City, after an Ultrasound pulse, Lilith had already unfolded her 20-meter-wide silver-white wingspan, locking onto the direction of the bell tower and the Spiritual Spores that were refilling the space.

Her scarlet vertical pupils flickered with a bloodthirsty light in the rain.

The hunt had begun.

Similarly, the Spiritual Spores in the air had absorbed enough negative energy at this moment. No longer hiding, they could unreservedly devour this negative energy to facilitate their own condensation.

This time, they transformed into countless flying creatures, almost filling the entire sky.

The rain seemed to have stopped, or rather, it was blocked. Now, only those flying biological entities with spiritual light flowing over their bodies remained in the sky.

They were far less powerful than the previous ones, but their numbers were even more terrifying! Truly blotting out the sun, they filled the entire sky above Raccoon City.

On the outskirts of Raccoon City, two teams of Reincarnators who had left due to the changes stared blankly at the sky, at those densely packed creatures.

At this moment, they only felt their scalps go numb.

This was the first time they felt a suffocating sensation.

This number of monsters was enough to swallow everything in the entire City.

What on earth was Lady Alice doing to create such a terrifying commotion?

Jill and the others also looked at the sky, the shock in their eyes even greater.

The Reincarnators at least knew this was the masterpiece of a Hive Lord Hunter, knowing there was a transcendent figure.

But Jill and her group didn't know about the so-called Hunters, let alone the existence of the Main God Game.

They really couldn't understand how these creatures had hidden in Raccoon City without being discovered.

Thinking about it now, Umbrella had already been elevated in their perception to a natural disaster-level existence, capable of creating disaster-level biological weapons that could destroy a City.

Now that the entire Raccoon City had completely fallen, what exactly was the reason for the other party to release so many creatures!

However, everyone soon found out.

Amidst the staggered high-rise buildings, a behemoth flapped its silver-white Bat Wings and charged toward those monsters high in the sky.

No! More accurately, it was charging toward the only bell tower in Raccoon City.

Its body rapidly released layers of blood-colored mist, enveloping a radius of 1,200 meters.

The monsters flying high in the sky seemed to have found their target, flying rapidly toward that behemoth like a torrent.

They seemed to be preventing the opponent from approaching.

At this time, those foreign Reincarnators couldn't help but swallow their saliva.

They knew Lady Alice's strength and dominance all too well. For Lady Alice to go all out, there was only one other possibility.

It was another Hunter, which was that giant beast from before.

It was also an SSS-Level Talent Hunter, and one focused on combat.

"Are you kidding me? In one dungeon, two SSS-Level Talent Hunters actually appeared."

The faces of these Reincarnators were unsightly; they didn't know if this was a stroke of luck or a tragedy...
