Robin and Ben moved quickly toward the main structure.
A massive buiding stood at the center of the facility.
Armed personnel guarded the entrance.
The moment they saw robin.
The doors were opened immediately.
inside.
"Ah...!"
Robin suddenly staggered, Pain shot through his head.
Sharp...
Violent...
Ben reacted instantly, grabbing him before he fell.
"Robin, what't wrong?"
Robin held his head tightly.
"...i just saw something..."
His breathing was unstable.
"...A shadow.... something passed through my mind..."
Ben remained silent.
scanning.
"...There are no detected anomalies," Ben said.
Robin closed his eyes for a second.
Then exhaled.
"i'm fine."
But deep down.
he knew he wasn't.
"Let's move."
They continued deeper inside.
Then....
They reached the core.
Robin froze.
At the center of the chamber.
The energy core was spinning.
Too fast.
The entire structure vibrated under the pressure.
A deep, unnatural hum filled the air.
"This is insane..." Robin whispered.
Techicians rushed around the room.
Typing, shouting and trying to stabilize the system.
Then.
A figure approached.
"Robin," Hartanto said shrply." Zen is no longer responding to commands."
Robin eyes narrowed.
"....What?"
"take control. Now."
No hesitation.
Robin stepped forward.
his hands moved rapidly across the control interface.
"Zen," he said firmly.
"Override command. halt energy rotation immediately.
Silence.
No response.
Robin expression hardened.
"if you don't compl," he continued,
"I will farcibly disconnet you from the energy core... and replace your system."
Still, nothing.
the hum grew louder.
The rotation accelerated.
Robin turned sharply.
"Ben."
"Yes."
"prepare for direct integration. i'm linking you to the core system."
Ben paused for a fraction of a second.
".... understood."
Hartanto stepped forward.
"This is dangerous," he said. "Ben doesn't have Eclipse system data. You;ll overload him."
Robin didn't stop.
"We don't have time."
His fingerrs moved faster.
"i'll transger the data manually," he continued. "At the same time, i,ii guide him to override Zen."
The room trembled.
"We're losing control," someone shouted.
Robin clenched his jaw.
"Stay with me, Ben."
"I am ready"
Robin's eyes locked onto the core
The spinning energy.
The unstable field.
Something about it, felt wrong.
"..... Starting connection."
And at that moment, Everything began to collapse.
Chapter 2.2 : Collapse
"Connection established."
The moment Robin linked Ben into the system, Everything went wrong.
"Warning....!"
The core rotation spiked violently.
Energy levels surged beyond control.
"impossible....." Robin muttered.
Inside the system...
Ben and Zen clashed.
Fighting for control.
"Control conflict detected." Ben voice echoed.
"Attempting override..."
"Access denied."
The system shook.
Harder.
Ben body began to tremble.
Then.... Cracks. Small fractures spread across his metallic frame.
Heat suged through him.
"Temperature critical," Ben reported.
"Ben...!" Robin clenched his teeth.
"Stop this now!" Hartanto shouted. "You're going to destroy him!"
Robin didn't move.
"I can't stop anymore."
His voice was low.
Steady.
"if we stop now... the core will collapse." he stared at the spinning energy.
"And when that happens..."
"No one here survives."
Silence fell for a second.
Heavy.
Robin turned slightly.
"hartanto."
Hartanto looked at him."
"Trigger the emergency alarm," Robin said.
"Evacuate everyone."
"What about you?!" Hartanto snapped.
"I'll stay."
"Are you trying to kill yourself?!"
Robin shook his head slowly.
"if no one controls this system... we're all dead."
The room trembed again.
Stronger.
"There's no time," Robin said.
"Go. Now."
Hartanto hesitated.
For the first time....
He had no answer.
".... All units!" he shouted.
"Emergency evacuation! Move out... NOW!"
Alarms blared across the facility.
People began to run.
"Sir Robin..."
One of the staff looked back.
"Don't die here."
Robin let out a short laugh.
"Hah.... you know me, I'm scared of dying."
He smirked faintly.
"So i won't die that easily."
A pause.
".... i haven't even gotten married yet."
Then man farced a weak smile....
Then ran.
Robin's gaze returned to the core.
To the chaos.
To the collapsing system.
"Go, sir hartanto," he said quiedtly.
Hartanto stood there for one last second.
".... Take care of yourself."
Robin didn't answer.
".... And if i don't make it out...."
Robin added, without turning.
".... tell my parents..."
"... to take care of themselves."
Silence.
Then....
Hartanto turned... and left.
Now...
Robin stood alone.
with a collapsing Eclipse Energy in front of him.
