Chapter 10 - THE WEAPON

SIENNA POV

Sienna had been planning this for three weeks.

Ever since she'd walked into the healing chamber and seen Drake looking at the invisible healer like she was the only thing in the world that mattered. Ever since she'd realized that the man who'd thrown her away like she was nothing was now completely obsessed with someone beneath her station.

The rage had been immediate. Overwhelming. Beautiful.

Sienna had spent two years trying to get Drake to see her as more than a body. Two years of trying to make him care. Two years of being told no, that he didn't do emotions, that she should find someone else. When he'd finally ended it publicly, humiliating her in front of half the pack, she'd thought her life was over.

But then she'd watched him with Luma.

And she'd realized something. The healer had done what Sienna couldn't. She'd made the cold, untouchable Alpha actually feel something. She'd cracked through his armor in ways Sienna never could.

Which meant Sienna needed to destroy her.

The research had taken weeks. Sienna had hired someone to dig into Luma's background. To find records. To trace her family. And what she'd found was better than revenge. It was a weapon.

A dark sorcerer father. Blood magic. Dark magic bonds. A supernatural facility where Luma's human mother lived that the pack had been secretly funding for years. Everything Sienna needed to make Drake see Luma as a threat instead of a salvation.

This morning, Sienna had put on her nicest clothes. She'd done her hair. She'd made herself look perfect. Then she'd walked into pack headquarters like she owned it.

The guards at the entrance recognized her. They knew Sienna had been with Drake. They didn't stop her immediately.

"I need to see Drake Ashford," she said, her voice sharp and commanding. "It's urgent."

"He's in the healing chamber," one guard said uncertainly. "He said not to be disturbed."

"Then get him," Sienna said coldly. "Tell him Sienna Cross has information that he needs to hear immediately. Information about the healer."

The guard hesitated. Then went to find James.

Sienna waited in the main atrium, making sure everyone saw her. Making sure people started wondering why she was here. Making sure curiosity started spreading through the pack like wildfire. She wanted witnesses. She wanted people talking. She wanted the story of what she was about to reveal to spread faster than Drake could contain it.

James arrived looking irritated.

"Sienna, this isn't a good time," he said, trying to move her toward the exit.

"I'm not leaving," Sienna said loudly. "And Drake will want to hear this. Trust me."

Warriors started appearing in doorways. Curious. Wondering what was happening. Sienna smiled inwardly. This was exactly what she wanted. An audience.

"Get Drake," she demanded. "Or I'll go find him myself and I'll tell him in front of everyone."

James's jaw tightened. He disappeared and came back with Drake looking irritated and confused. Half the pack leadership had gathered by now, drawn by the commotion.

"My office," Drake said coldly, gesturing for Sienna to follow.

She did, making sure to walk slowly enough that people could see her carrying documents. Making sure curiosity was eating everyone alive. By the time she reached Drake's office, the entire upper leadership of the pack was positioning themselves within hearing distance.

Drake closed the door behind them, but not before Sienna saw James already taking position outside.

"This better be important," Drake said.

Sienna smiled. She'd been waiting for this moment for weeks.

"I'm concerned about you," she said sweetly. "About your health. About the healer you've been letting treat you."

"Luma saved my life," Drake said coldly.

"Did she?" Sienna asked. She pulled out the documents she'd gathered. Registry files. Dark magic incident reports. Family history. "Or did she help you recover from a curse that her own family might have created?"

Drake's face went still.

"What are you talking about?" he asked, but his voice had changed. It was colder now. More dangerous.

"The healer's father," Sienna continued, laying out documents on Drake's desk. "Kaelen Cross. A dark sorcerer of significant power. He practiced curse magic specifically. He bonded to a human woman and had a child. Your healer."

She watched Drake's expression shift. Watched him try to process what she was saying.

"The father is dead," Drake said.

"Is he?" Sienna asked. "Or is he just missing? The pack's records are unclear. But what is clear is that he trained others in dark magic. People from rival packs. People who would have access to his curse techniques."

James had entered the room by now, standing silently while Sienna destroyed everything between Drake and Luma with pure, beautiful words.

"Marcus Vale's pack has documented connections to the sorcerer," Sienna continued. "Which means whoever cursed you learned from the same person who taught your healer. Which means your healer is connected to whoever wanted you dead."

She laid down the final document. Proof. Evidence. The smoking gun.

"Check for yourself," she said, her voice dripping with satisfaction. "Ask her why her hands recognized the curse. Ask her what her father taught her. Ask her if she's been keeping other secrets."

Drake stared at the documents like they were poison.

Sienna stood up slowly, savoring the moment. Drake looked broken. Betrayed. Like he was realizing that the woman he'd been falling for might have been connected to the thing that almost killed him.

"I hope you recover fully," Sienna said gently, turning toward the door. "And I hope you're more careful next time. Not everyone who saves you is trying to help you."

She left without waiting for his response.

She didn't need to see his face when it hit him fully. She didn't need to watch him realize that his healer might be a spy. A saboteur. A connection to whoever wanted him dead.

The damage was already done.

By the time Sienna reached the main atrium, warriors were already whispering to each other. They'd heard voices raised in Drake's office. They'd seen documents. They'd seen James looking grim. They were putting together stories. Creating narratives.

And the narrative Sienna had planted was spreading like a disease through the pack.

The invisible healer who'd saved Drake might actually be the reason he was cursed in the first place.

By afternoon, that's what everyone was saying.

By evening, it would be all anyone could talk about.

Sienna walked out of pack headquarters feeling lighter than she had in months. She'd done it. She'd destroyed Luma's connection to Drake. She'd planted seeds of doubt that would grow into suspicion. She'd turned the pack against the one woman who'd managed to crack through Drake's armor.

And when Drake eventually turned on Luma, when he realized she'd been lying to him, when he decided she was a threat that needed to be eliminated, Sienna would be there.

She'd be there to offer comfort.

She'd be there to remind him that she'd tried to warn him.

She'd be there to help him see that some women were worth loving and others were just weapons waiting to be used.

And maybe, just maybe, he'd finally see her the way he looked at Luma.

By the time he did, it would be far too late for the healer.
