"Don't you think you're meddling in things that don't concern you?"
Sora Yukihara's words only escalated the conflict.
But he couldn't help it.
He never had a good temper to begin with—and Pyro pushing his luck had already crossed the line.
Pyro snapped, "If you were a normal person, it wouldn't concern us. But you're a mutant—so we have to intervene."
"Mutant my ass!"
Sora Yukihara spread his fingers wide.
The slaughter was about to begin.
Colossus, acting as the leader, immediately sensed the killing intent and warned, "Sora Yukihara, don't resist. Come with us. If there's any misunderstanding, the Professor will judge fairly."
"Judge?"
"I need you to judge me?"
Sora Yukihara's hands rose, sweeping across the air.
Invisible threads filled the space.
"Enough talking."
Pyro flicked his lighter.
Flames ignited instantly—
A blazing wave surged forward.
"Try your own medicine!"
Sora Yukihara tugged his fingers.
In an instant—
Iceman was caught in the Puppet Threads and yanked forward—
Straight into the flames.
"Watch out!"
Pyro panicked and tried to stop—but it was too late.
The flames engulfed Iceman.
"Iceman!"
Colossus roared.
"You almost burned me alive!"
But Iceman wasn't dead.
At the last moment, he released a burst of cold energy, protecting himself.
"Be careful—he can control people!"
Colossus warned, charging forward.
He needed to take Sora Yukihara down before he could control anyone else.
Thread Whip!
Clang!
The whip struck Colossus's chest—
And did nothing but halt him briefly.
"Damn, too tough."
Sora Yukihara frowned.
Colossus's metallic body wasn't ordinary steel.
Sora Yukihara spread his hands—
Thousands of threads formed a massive web.
Spider Web Wall!
Boom!
Colossus crashed into it like a charging rhino—
But the impact was completely absorbed.
"Burn it!"
Colossus shouted.
A wave of fire rushed in—
Reducing the web to ashes.
But—
Sora Yukihara was gone.
"He's above!"
Iceman launched a freezing attack upward.
Bullet Thread!
A razor-thin thread shot out—
Piercing through Iceman's palm.
"AAAH!"
He screamed.
The thread grazed past his eye—barely missing a fatal hit.
"Freeze the wound!"
Colossus barked. "Pyro, limit his movement!"
"No need."
Sora Yukihara dove straight at Colossus.
Head-on.
Kill!
A spear formed in his hand—
A spear made entirely of threads.
He thrust it at Colossus's heart.
Clang!
Colossus countered with a punch.
Fist versus spear.
Colossus staggered half a step back.
The thread spear unraveled.
"Die!"
Pyro unleashed everything—
A massive inferno engulfed Sora Yukihara.
"Up!"
At the last moment—
Threads erupted from the ground.
Sora Yukihara lifted the pavement itself—
Using it as a shield.
The flames crashed against the raised earth.
"Sora Yukihara!"
Iceman attacked again—
A storm of razor-sharp ice spikes surged forward.
Like a giant spiked beast.
Sora Yukihara spread his hands again—
Another web wall formed.
The ice collided violently—
But couldn't break through.
Scrrr—
The ice scraped against the surface—
But couldn't advance an inch.
"Done playing?"
Sora Yukihara grinned.
Full Power Thread Spear!
All his strength condensed into a single point—
The attack pierced through the massive ice construct—
And shot straight through Iceman's shoulder.
If he hadn't twisted at the last second—
His neck would've been pierced instead.
"Iceman!"
Colossus roared, charging again.
This time—
No restraint.
His punch aimed straight for Sora Yukihara's head.
His strength was monstrous—
Enough to crush steel.
Enough to shatter bodies.
But—
Sora Yukihara smiled.
This was exactly what he wanted.
Overheat—Arashi!
Tens of thousands of threads surged like a tidal wave—
Crashing upward.
"AAAH!"
Colossus was swallowed whole—
His footing vanished.
He fell—
Straight off the rooftop.
Boom!
He crashed down from over ten meters.
Even with his steel body, the impact nearly made him cough blood.
If his internal organs weren't also reinforced—
He would've died.
"Colossus!"
Now only Pyro and the injured Iceman remained.
And then—
A shadow dropped from above.
Sora Yukihara stood there—
Focused entirely on Pyro.
Completely defenseless.
Or so it seemed…
