Chapter 2 - chapter 2

I reach the bus stop and I stand in my usual spot, I stand out amongst the others but alone with no friends to chat with about gossip or just to stand next to, welcome to my life.

As the bus comes I tuck my phone away and walk to where the bus usual stops and I get on and sit in any seat I feel like sitting in, I pull out my phone again and start to play on it.

"Is anyone sitting here?"

I look up and see a tall girl probably taller than me with Vitiligo.

"Uh yeah I-I mean no." I get flustered because I usually...

no scratch that I sit alone all the time and no one has asked to sit with me so I didn't know how to respond or react,

"Oh okay." The girl sits down next to me and I tense up becuase I didn't know how to react and I just go back to playing on my phone.

"What's your name?" The girl asked after a moment of silence.

"Cora, Cora Hurman" I said as I look at her "you?" "Cheyenne, Cheyenne Niss Hawkard" Cheyenne joyfully said,

I can already tell she's an extrovert.

"Mm how old are you?" I surprise myself with the question, "16 you?" "17" I flip my hair to the side and I drop my phone, giving Cheyenne my full attention.

"Oh that's nice! Got any hobbies?" Cheyenne's eyes sparkle as she talks, the opposite of me.

"Urm not much just dancing and painting and I love volleyball and Ice skating." Even my own mother doesn't know my favorite color not to talk about hobbies and I'm just casually telling this girl.

"Oh me too! I take dance class and I do Volleyball! I've never tried Ice skating before though and I've tried painting, the head of my dog ended up being the balls and I don't know how I did it but I even managed to mess up the sun."

Cheyenne stated while her pointer finger taps on her chin with her head a tad bit tilted as she remembers memories she probably doesn't want to remember and I chuckle,

I haven't chuckled in a while and before I knew it the conversation flowed like water and just like that we reached the school and me and Cheyenne got off the bus still talking.

"You know I was very scared to approach you because you looked so mean." Cheyenne grinned as we walked into the building. "What actually!?" I exclaimed, "yeah you have a resting bitch face," I chuckle "no one has ever told me that." "Yeah because I don't see you talking to anyone!" Cheyenne voiced as we entered the building and walk towards where the lockers are,

"That's not true I talk to my family, well sometimes." My voice lowers thinking about it then I feel Cheyenne hug me then squeeze me making me wheeze, "you're such a boomer, cheer up!" Cheyenne joyfully said as she let's go of me and I let out a sigh of relief.

"Please you're the one who speaks like you're 30 or 40" "and you act like your 30 or 40" Cheyenne retorts and I raise an eyebrow at her comeback,

"Oh really? Watch that mou-" before I could finish my sentence I bump into someone and I take a step back confused at what happened and I look up and I see Xavier Aeneas, a popular boy in our school.

He's apart of the debate team and hockey team; his piercing sky blue eyes lock onto mine and I feel the air suck out of my lungs, I step aside embarrassed as I watch him walk by and I feel my face heating up.

"Oo what was that." Cheyenne nodge me with a cheeky grin on her face and I push her aside, "This is why I don't talk while walking."

I grumbled clearly displeased and I look back at his retreating figure and stare him down as I notice his features, his dark brown hair that flows like waves, his broad shoulders, his slim waist and his confident strides, I turn around and roll my eyes as I walk to my locker with Cheyenne following behind me cackling,

This is going to be a long day.
