Waking up from the sound of birds chirping and a ray of sunlight hitting my eyes made sit up and checked my body for any injuries, but there were none.
A sense of relief hit me, and after composing myself, I realised I wasn't at the restaurant or a hospital, but instead on a field surrounded by nothing but tall grass.
Faced with the sudden realisation made me stood up and start by analysing my surroundings, but upon looking around, there were nothing but the tall grass, even if i looked beyond.
After experiencing a near death experience, made me think this is the afterlife, but upon inspection. That isn't case at all...
'...Well, no point in standing here and do nothing.'
As I was about to wonder to a random direction, a futuristic screen popped up in front of me, startling me.
[Welcome to Fantasia Adventurer! You have been chosen as one of the Heroes who will save this world from the Devil King!]
Upon reading what was said on the screen, then I realised what is happening.
"Sigh... I wanna go home..."

As I was walking around the direction the screen was telling me to go. I started to familiarise myself with this system and I learned a few things.
First, was that this world Fantasia is being overrun by Demons and Beast, lead by this Devil King. The human race driven to corner left them with no choice but to do a Hero Summoning, as a desperate measure.
Second, is that this screen is someone type of leveling system. The more you gain experience the more you level up, and the more you level up, the stronger you get.
I clicked on the 'View Status' and what showed is apparently my status.

Looking at the screen, I noticed that this system is presenting itself as some type of Video Game. I'm guessing the difference is that there are so respawn button upon death.
But seeing my stat made it easier to tell what I'm capable of.
The third, is that to level I have to gain experience, to gain experience, I have to fight the beings here, that the system calls Magical Beasts. If you slay one of these guys, you also gain Magical Gems, that you can then sell, and gain a profit. But it only depends on the 'Density of Mana inside the Gem' huh...
The last thing I learned is that, me and the others have been separated and apparently 'spawned' on different location of this world. But the system isn't telling me where their located to. More like it won't tell me. I kept asking, but I only get the silent treatment.
It just kept spamming me these words whenever I asked one thing about them.
'They are safe. You do not have to worry. Please focus on building up your stats.'
It kept saying these very words everytime I asked something related to them. No matter the question, it annoyed me , so I eventually stopped.
As I continued walking, I noticed something beyond the field of grass, and saw buildings and houses, and thought, 'That must be the Town this map is telling me to go. The Town of Beginnings. '
But the more I look at the Town, I was still taken aback at the sight and made me think that, I really am in another world.
I snapped back to reality and continued walking towards the Town.

I arrived at the Town and was stopped by one, what I assume is the one guarding the Town. With the full set Armor.
'I'm surprised he can move in that.'
The guard asked, "Halt! State your case, stranger!"
After asking, he started looking up and down at me, and came to the conclusion, "Ooh, you must be an Adventurer, am I correct?"
Can't think of any answer, I just nodded and agreed.
"I've never seen you before. You must've came to this Town to register to become an Adventurer, right?"
The guard said while looking at me with pure curiosity. So I just gave him a grin and nodded.
The guard eventually let me in the Town, telling me good luck while giving me a thumbs up.
I guess I don't have to worry about being in danger in this Town.
As I entered the Town, I was surprised by the amount of shops you can see, but the thing that surprised me the most was the giant building at the very end of the Town.
'That must be the Adventurer Guild, the knight guard told me about.'
I started walking towards the Guild attempting to register, I noticed people walking out of the building.
Others wearing armor. Others holding Magic Staffs. Others having a giant sword on their back.
'Those guys are probably the Adventurers of the Guild."
Wow.. Just looking at them almost intimidated me. One of them noticed me looking and gave me sharp look, startling me.
But that wasn't the reason I was shaking and my heart beating so fast.
I realised that this feeling isn't fear or anxiety.
It was excitement.
"*sighh* Now this is looking a lot more like an Fantasy World." I said while grinning with excitement.
