I was used to live a simple life....

I gasped .the dragon engraved on the ring seemed to shift,just like the tattoo on his neck at the same time,li shen and froze, I watched in horror as the dragon tattoo on his neck slowly moved again like it was alive its shapes crawling slightly towards his collar bone.
The air in the room suddenly felt heavy.the curtains stoppedmoving. even thmaste outside sounds disappeared...
Li shen grip tightened around my wrist. his eyes widened slightly, and for the first time,I saw fear in them.
The ring burned hotter.
The candle wenf out.
Darkness....
I felt something behind me..
Li shen suddenly said,"don't turn -

My shadow wasn't mine..
It moved...even when i didn't.
The ring flashed red.
A whisper echoed,"she's here."
The floor beneath me cracked.a black dragon shaped mark spread under my feet,li shen igrabbed my wrist tightly.
Then the Ring on my finger.... split slightly.
And a drop of blood dell into the crack.
