Surviving Magical School: JJMs 101 🔮

It was Percy. The most chaotic person I have ever met. He was holding some chocolates.
"It's for you both as a reward!! As, I won the bet against Aries. I said that you both will be on the same house, meanwhile he said that you won't."
He said with complete dramatics and hand gestures.
After that he continued his celebration, but we silently slipped out from the common room to our dorms. I was feeling sleepy as hell.
We reached our dorms, there were two more girls they were sitting on their single four poster beds. Both of them were beautiful one had naturally dark skin and dark hairs. Meanwhile the other one was tanned, like she had spend her entire summer outdoors, and had blonde hairs that framed her face perfectly.
When we entered they both looked up from what they were doing, they had already changed into their pjs.
"Hey guys! my name is Jean."
I took the initiative of beginning the conversation, as I know both Jani and Lily are introverts when it comes to greet new people, so in general they are ambiverts.
"Hey! I'm Marlene," said the blonde girl.
"And I'm Mary," said the other girl.
"And myself Janice."
"And I'm Lily."
"Are you both twins?"
Mary asked pointing at me and Jani.
"No! actually funny story about that, we met in the train," I answered mischievously.
"Oh! not again Jay. Yeah we are twins."
"Such a buzzkill," I muttered under my breath but Jani heard it.
"Oh! I will tell you whats a buzzkill," she said and pulled my ears.
"Now go and change your clothes or I will tell mama."
"Yeah tell her I'm not afraid of mama," I replied boldly, but went to change anyway because elder sisters are scary.
"Jani is older," Lily told our confused roommates.
And just like that everyone went to sleep, as everyone was exhausted after the long journey and the massive feast.
Author's POV:
The sun filtered through the clear glasses into the dorms of every students, except Slytherin, their dorm is under the lake.
In the Gryffindor Tower, its residents has already started waking up, excited for the first day of school. But our dear Jay-jay had another plans. She was still sleeping soundlessly unaware of the movements of her dormmates.
Her elder twin was already awake and completely ready for the first day, crisped uniform, sleak ponytail, and shiny lipgloss. But right now she had a mission: 'Wake up the Gremlin'.
She went to the bed beside her, where jay-jay was and snatched her duvet, Jay-jay tried to hold them in her sleep but failed and slumped back into bed. Lily seeing the scene and stepped in to help and snatched the pillow from under jay-jay's head.
Jay-jay just groaned,
"Five more minutes ate."
Yeah she used the word ate to melt Jani, because even half unconscious she knew how to convince her sister.
But Jani was in a mission and no words from Jay-jay can melt her now.
"Come on wake up Jay! You wouldn't want to attend first class of Hogwarts in an empty stomach. Because I know you and you will always complain about how one of the best memory of yours was ruined because you were hungry while living it."
Nobody knows whether the word Hogwarts or empty stomach hit Jay-jay but she shot up straight with wide eyes, and started looking around.
She had finally realized that she was in Hogwarts and today was the first day of school. Without another words she snatched her uniform and toiletries from the chair, which she had kept last night and ran to the bathroom.
"Is this a daily routine?" asked an overwhelmed looking Marlene.
"Unfortunately, yes," replied proud looking Jani.
Jay came out of bathroom in a record time and they all went down to the Great hall to have breakfast.
*Timeskip*
By the end of the first year the girls of Gryffindor had become best friends. They also had friends in other houses like Rakki and Mica.
Meanwhile the boys of first year Gryffindor had started a cult of mischief. They were always planning pranks and had a way to annoy every student and teachers in the school.
Many people adored them, like Percy always passing on some tips or ideas along with his twin friends Fabian and Gideon and had adopted them as disciples.
But among them was another boy, Keifer he was quite, brooding and arrogant. He never replied to any questions asked to him by anyone except teachers.
The boys had given up, because he never disturbed them also he sometimes supported them by giving ideas or covering up for them. He was not included with all the mischief and he liked it that way.
One of the prankster among them was Remus. He was also quite, enjoying his solitude and usually disappeared once a month with a reason of visiting home due to some issue. No teacher ever asked questions. Yet he was studious, attentive and humorous. Everyone adored him even the teachers and girls.
He was friends with Jani, Jay and Lily as they shared the same hometown. The girls encouraged him to visit them over holidays and promised to meet in the park to play. Other boys seemed rather jealous of him getting all the attention of the girls but girls couldn't care less.
The end of the first year was glamorous all of them passed their exams with flying colours.
And talking about flying Jay-jay loved the flying lessons and quidditch matches and aimed to join the house team like Percy.
There was neck-to-neck competition among students for the first place in the first year. That they somehow ended up with:
1st rank - Jani, Remus
2nd rank - Lily, Keifer, Yuri
3rd rank - James, Sirius
4th rank - Jay, Marlene, Rakki, Mica
and many more....
2nd Year (2022-23)
Beginning of the second year of Hogwarts of the JJM twins was filled with excitement. They wanted to learn everything they could about magic including exploring magical sites from different countries too.
And with that vision they set off to second year of 'Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry'.
3rd Year (2023-24)
Now they considered Hogwarts as their second home. The only place they can be truly themselves, as they are not allowed to use magic outside of school.
This year was crucial as they now have to study additional subjects too.
Jay opted for: Arithmancy, Care of Magical creatures, and Divination.
Jani opted for: Ancient Runes, Arithmancy, and Care of Magical creatures.
Along with extra curricular activities for weekends, when there is no class which included: Quidditch and Music for Jay and Earth Magic and Art for Jani.
4th Year (2024-25)
This year was filled with workload. Jay was officially part of Gryffindor Quidditch team along with Marlene, James, Sirius, Fabian, Gideon and Frank.
Frank as captain and Keeper.
Fabian and Gideon as Beater.
Marlene, James, and Sirius as Chasers.
And lastly Jay as seeker.
Through Quidditch Jay and Marlene was now good friends with James and Sirius. They have also became somewhat mature, they still used to play pranks but now they didn't annoyed others and also helped everyone.
And now Jay had officially began to hate Snape just like Mary and Marlene. Jani first believed he might have his own reasons but she also started hating him when he called slurs to Remus and her. And that might also be a reason why she helps boys with pranks on him.
Yet they don't understand why Lily is still friends with him. She says that he have hard time with his family so doesn't know that it is bad to cuss people. But JJ believes its bullshit as he don't do anything in the beginning but when Lily started spending more time with them, he started targeting Remus, Jani and her.
5th Year (2025-26)
Before the start of the year Jani received special letter from Hogwarts, that she has been chosen as Prefect of Gryffindor. When she received it Aries was so proud of her, but Percy kept teasing her all the time. Jay teased him back about being jealous.
This year was crucial as it was OWLs year. This exam will decide their future in the wizarding world.
During counselling, Professor McGonagall provided both of them with numerous choices about future career but, Jay can't decide anyone among them. As she like all of them and also have a dream of exploring many places. She had already started to prepare a bucket list of them.
But one happy thing happened this year, Lily finally saw true colours of Snape and decided to let go of the friendship that was suffocating her for such a long time. Snape was very controlling and manipulative. Once he had completely turned Lily against them, but thank god that their bond was strong and they pulled back Lily towards them.
But a strange thing also occurred this year.
Jay-Jay's POV: (16th June 2026)
I don't understand what really happened but suddenly all the boys, Remus, James, Peter and Keifer, seems angry on Sirius. They all were happy yesterday night, enjoying the last week of 5th year after so much trauma OWLs gave us.
I'm sure something happened last night after we went to bed. I wanted to know so bad what happened, I think its something related to Remus. I just hope its not related to what we think it might be.
Today is last Tuesday of our 5th year. Next Saturday we will be off to home for summer break. I thought we were all going to celebrate the end of OWL exams, but seeing the tension among boys nobody dared to utter a single word about celebration.
I just hope they resolve whatever happened soon and we can start next year with new energy.

Well now we are right on time. I know I don't upload regularly at all, but I can't do anything as most of my day is spent on school, coaching and household chores.
And sometimes I just don't have enough ideas to write. But now I promise to try and post at least once a week, as I had many ideas on what to write when they grow up. You know all the tension and romance.
So it was hard to write as a 11yr old, as I turned 11 during Covid-19. But I remember the 1st time I watched HP and I was 10 then so yeah I wrote what I thought while watching the movies.
