At the Spoon curve, the standing water began to migrate, moving from the exit to the entry. At the Casio Triangle, the kerbs became slicker, threatening to spin the car if he even breathed on them.
Leo adapted. He started using the "Slipstream Prediction" to see how the car ahead, a ghost of his own previous lap, was displacing the water. He watched the "flow lines" of the spray, using them to find the dry patches of tarmac that were invisible to the naked eye.
On lap thirteen, he almost lost it. He was pushing too hard through the S-Curves, trying to find a line that was both new and fast. The rear of the car stepped out at Turn 4. He was traveling at 180 kilometers per hour.
Danger Sense screamed.
