Chapter 48 - First Encounter with Vados — One Shock After Another!

"But what?!"

Zeru frowned as several seconds passed without the system continuing.

"However, Host, you must obtain another powerful Saiyan bloodline. Only then can this God-level evolution combine them into a brand-new Saiyan bloodline."

The system seemed to organize its words before finally replying.

"…Huh?"

Zeru's frown deepened.

"Bloodlines… can stack?!"

"Ordinarily, no. But you are the Host. You possess the system and a God-level evolution opportunity. For you, bloodlines can indeed be combined."

"I see…"

Zeru's expression relaxed slightly, a sharp glint flashing in his eyes.

In the Dragon Ball world, the strongest Saiyan bloodlines were limited.

First—Broly's Legendary Saiyan bloodline.

Second—the Ancient Saiyan bloodline from fan lore.

Third—the Primordial Saiyan bloodline he already possessed.

As for anything beyond that…

He vaguely remembered something like an "ancient Saiyan" lineage—but couldn't pinpoint its origin.

Whoosh!

A sudden sound cut through the air, snapping him out of his thoughts.

"Vados?!"

Zeru looked ahead, quickly recognizing the angel before him—

Vados, the angel of Universe 6 and Whis's elder sister.

She always appeared gentle, smiling calmly—

But Zeru knew better.

She wasn't easy to deal with.

Even Champa had to tread carefully when she was displeased.

"You're not from Universe 6, are you?"

Vados held her staff, her tone cool as she observed him.

"No."

Zeru answered honestly.

"You're quite straightforward… and you seem to recognize me?"

A hint of surprise flickered in her eyes.

"Yes."

Zeru nodded, keeping his words minimal.

He wasn't nervous.

Angels, despite their status, couldn't act freely against mortals under normal circumstances.

That gave him confidence.

And that calm attitude—

Made Vados even more curious.

"How interesting… what an intriguing little one."

She studied him for a few seconds before smiling.

"You summoned Super Shenron just now, didn't you? A mere human surviving in the vacuum of space—and even speaking the language of the gods…"

Suddenly—

She paused.

Her gaze swept the surroundings.

Then returned to Zeru—

This time filled with genuine astonishment.

"How are you, a human, able to survive in space?"

"That's not something I can tell you."

Zeru shrugged lightly.

"If there's nothing else, Miss Vados, I'll be heading back to Universe 7."

"Wait."

Vados stopped him immediately.

"I haven't gotten my answer. I can't let you leave yet."

"It's an innate ability."

Zeru replied smoothly, without hesitation.

"And I have another one."

"Oh?"

Vados leaned in slightly, intrigued.

"What would that be?"

"Watch closely."

Zeru placed two fingers on his forehead.

Counted silently—

Then—

Whoosh!

He vanished.

Gone from Universe 6.

"…What?!"

Vados's eyes widened.

Her mild surprise turned into full shock.

"That child… did he just jump between universes?!"

She closed her eyes, sensing.

One second.

Five seconds.

One minute.

Five minutes.

Nothing.

No trace.

At all.

She slowly opened her eyes.

Now she was certain.

"That wasn't teleportation within space… it was traversal between universes."

Her lips curled slightly.

"Where did such an interesting little one come from…"

She tapped her staff lightly—

And returned to the Universe 6 God of Destruction realm.

Then—

She suddenly recalled something Zeru had said.

"Back to Universe 7…"

Her steps paused.

A smile formed.

She tapped her staff again.

Ripples spread—

And a tall figure appeared within them.

"Vados, what is it?"

It was Whis.

"Whis, has your Universe 7 produced a rather extraordinary little one?"

Vados asked directly.

"Oh? You know about him already?"

Whis looked surprised.

"Did he already collect all the Super Dragon Balls and summon Super Shenron?"

"Yes."

Vados nodded.

"And more than that—he can survive in space and traverse between universes."

Whis froze for a moment.

Thinking back—

Their first meeting had indeed been in the vacuum of space.

"So… he really is quite remarkable."

Then he asked carefully:

"He didn't cause you any trouble, did he?"

"No."

Vados smiled faintly, a glint in her eyes.

"But… I've taken an interest in him."

She tilted her head slightly.

"Say, Whis… how about letting him join Universe 6?"
