Chapter 24 - Chapter 23-Kronos and Tenebris

AN:Hello from the Void. Seriously are yall still adding to the collections đź’€either here you go

Scene 1

"Yes, I've already sent a few of the men to go handle the devils as they're reported in. Lady Sitiri has recently started calling them stray devils."

Listening to Rook as I ate breakfast after letting my body sleep for once, I allowed Krono's blessing to take root as threads of rivers began to connect the four star tattoos along my right arm, while forming a smaller star resembling a clock below the four domains.

My Darkness, Sun, and Death sat at the top on my shoulder, while Force and Time were formed in a ladder.

"Good. If they're only middle rank and below, then they'll function better as training material. Although it's regrettable they can't be purified and the effort would be wasted. If these are to become more common among the pureblood devils, then I want some rules implemented under us."

Glancing toward Mari, who was watching me while still attempting to hide among the maids.

"If they are recruiting from the Shinto territory, then make sure it's known we will come down harshly on anyone who forcefully recruits anyone or tricks them. They won't jeopardize a deal that's using my name.

"Mari, if you could spread word around the Devil race of the fate of the Lork clan and Beelzbub City. Credit it to me personally. Make sure it's known that the Sitiri clan are the ones who acquired this deal as well with the Shinto faction. Any overstepping from anyone will be war."

Grabbing another plate, I began to devour the food.

"What about Bale, sir? He's just been seated at the main clan since Lady Serafall returned, awaiting the meeting with Falibum."

Shaking my head as I swallowed my food.

"He's fine. If he's not traveling or training anyone, then it's probably studying the laws he carries.

"He doesn't need reality to study his fraction of the End. Although it's the first time a mortal is in this position.

"Which reminds me, I need to check TĂ. He should be awake by now."

Understanding the Sun fragment I received from the Shinto fragment has finally given me enough of a claim to start restoring my connection to my domain.

Even my grandfather's gift was well-timed to the point that I'll have to reconsider his offer. Once I wrap things up securing Serafall's seat, I can step back and study the laws of this world more directly.

Scene 2

"Hello, grandson."

Looking down from Earth as I focused on this shackled form of Grandfather, who was standing in front of the throne.

"Or does the second owner of the Death Key count as my son when he was pulled from Death's very essence?"

Watching as his pointed teeth formed a smile, his body rippled like a river as different realities clashed while he tried to find a form.

"Put your sword down, Azazrel."

Commanding the Reaper, who was openly revealing his divine skeleton form to this Primal King.

"Does it matter to anyone who's reached this level? Whether Master calls you father or not has never been something you cared about, Chronos."

Watching as he nodded his head in agreement while Azazrel put his hood back on.

"No. But Rhea would care. That woman is a softie, as much as she deludes herself into following fate. Your attention is spread thin like hers and Hades'. You allowed Cueljuris to latch onto you for both of you to survive the collapse."

Nodding my head before waving for the Death Maiden to bring drinks.

"Wine distilled from the waters of the Plane of Concepts. Take the jar with you. You'll need it if that mortal aims to go through with her actions. Also, don't interfere more than needed with my descent from the Peak."

Watching as he accepted the jar as I received a cup. Before we toasted as he returned to his cell.

Ending Zeus' panic in space.

"Azazrel, go and retrieve Ras. It's time he restarts his journey at sea. Send him to the Tenebris you'll find."

Lifting my eyes up as I focused on the spell this mortal was casting to draw in another world to attach to this universe.

A gathering spot for numerous fates to collide against.

Scene 3

"Hello, family. Did you miss me?"

Stepping through the void into this floating Olympus my youngest son commanded.

"Father."

Listening to Zeus as I preferred admiring the new body I've received from my grandson. The last key ingredient I've been hunting for, locked behind Agmottos' seal against anything over God-King.

"Where are our uncles and aunties, Father?"

Looking up to Poseidon, who always knows how to ruin a moment, as my grandchildren were already ready for war with weapons out.

"I sent them on their way home. Unlike you lot here, there's still a universe out there who'd give up slices to allow more options within plans."

Grinning as my two sons stared at me with bloodlust while the younger Gods were confused.

"Oh, you didn't tell them it wasn't only me you couldn't slaughter like pigs. Hahaha, and they called me the Mad King. Oh well, count your lucky stars that I still prefer your mother's affection more than I do watching losers run around with their heads cut off."

Summoning the shackles from my soul as I clamped them down on my wrists and ankles before offering my hands to my sons.

"Where's my eldest son? He should be here if you cut your connection to Earth. Or did you think leaving him outside the throne room would keep your seat secure? Prometheus truly did bet on the losing hand."

Ignoring the lightning bolt that missed my face as I cast Time Laws, stopping all my grandchildren in midair. Hermes was the only one still shaking as if he would break loose.

"This isn't time for questions for Father. At least your escape proved Hades can't control everything in his realm. Now return before the Elder Ones come and judge you as guilty for violating Fate."

Poseidon spoke up as he shook his head at the red-faced Zeus while Hera tried to calm him down.

"Fine. This one might've lost to you two. But if you think this was the truest path out, then my condolences."

Feeling a portal to Hades opening beneath me, I grinned at my children's faces as the Time spell broke once I was swallowed by the portal.
