Thalia couldn't sleep.
She kept turning left and right on the bed before finally giving up and sitting upright quietly.
Maybe she was too hungry or maybe… It was because her mind kept on recalling the stabbing incident that happened in this penthouse before.
She couldn't lie, it was still haunting her mind.
Letting out a soft sigh, she glanced toward the clock on the wall.
It's almost midnight.
Slowly getting off the bed, Thalia walked toward the bathroom before quietly closing the door behind her.
She stood in front of the mirror for a long moment, staring at her pale reflection silently.
Her energy really had been draining faster ever since she lost another tail.
And with William not around, it somehow felt even worse.
"Should I call him…?" she quietly asked herself.
But even after saying it out loud, she still couldn't decide.
