The creatures of the Dark World have retreated, leaving the earth scarred and pitted. The mountains and all things eroded by darkness still retain traces of thin black matter.
This is an inner sea, deep in the heart of the continent, yet connected to the outer sea. It is as black as ink, silent and soundless.
Shi Hao sat on the cliff, holding a fishing rod forged from violet copper essence. For months, he fished, his Primordial Spirit radiating in all directions, observing the rise and fall of the great road, watching the pulse of heaven and earth, gaining insights into some truths of the sea and land.
The creatures have dwindled, but they still exist. Comparatively, they are slightly weaker, at least with no Dark Supreme left behind, taken away by the original true creatures of the Dark World.
The remaining creatures span from cultivators of the Escapist One Realm to ordinary people. They are the abandoned ones, not taken away.
