Gao Yang had met Eileen's mother, but he was somewhat distracted.
Returning to normal days was making him a bit uncomfortable. Things he used to find wonderful, like catching a movie or sleeping soundly without worrying about being attacked, now just seemed dull.
These things that Gao Yang once found great and rare, he hasn't even done them yet upon his return, but they've already lost their allure.
"Born with a wretched life, can't enjoy blessings."
While Gao Yang was sarcastically mocking himself, he suddenly heard a gentle voice saying, "Hello."
Gao Yang quickly pulled himself together, refocused his eyes, only to find Eileen's mother standing in front of him, pulling a small suitcase.
"Ah, hello, Auntie."
Gao Yang hurriedly took the suitcase handle and said apologetically, "Eileen went to a training class. Time is really tight, the fashion show is soon to open, she really couldn't squeeze in the time, so she let me come to pick you up. Please, this way."
