The taxi stopped, and Yarebin pushed open the car door and stood by the roadside.
Gao Yang took out a super banknote of one hundred dollars and handed it to the taxi driver from the back, urging, "Keep the change, wait for us here!"
Gao Yang opened the door and got out of the car, then he saw Yarebin standing by the roadside, staring motionlessly at the house that had just excited him greatly.
Standing next to Yarebin, Gao Yang whispered, "Teacher, are you okay? Shall we go take a look?"
Yarebin took a deep breath and said softly, "That used to be my home."
"I can tell, Teacher."
Yarebin wiped his face with his hand, appearing a bit hesitant, and Gao Yang whispered, "Let's go take a look since we're already here."
"I know, I'm just not quite ready mentally, give me a moment."
Yarebin stood in place for dozens of seconds, then suddenly started walking towards his former home, but he walked very slowly.
