Book 1: Sir Marigold The Golden Flower

Ark31
Two years after the catastrophic global event known as the Emergence, a new generation of heroic knights rises to defend humanity against the onslaught of monstrous Anomalies. At the center of this epic tale is Sir Marigold, a once-detached young man whose apathy is shattered as he witnesses the world crumbling around him. The story begins with a historical account of the Original Seven Knights, legendary warriors who sacrificed their very essence to stop the first Calamity. Their heroic deeds and prophetic words have become the foundation of the Knight Codex, a mystical text that guides the new generation of knights. As the Emergence takes hold, the world's military forces prove powerless against the Anomalies, setting the stage for the awakening of these chosen successors. One by one, ordinary people are transformed into knights, their acts of nobility and sacrifice drawing the attention of the Original Seven's spirits. Lord Hideyoshi, Sir Lancelot, Sir Agravain, Sir Tristan, Sir Noor, and Sir Galahad all emerge, each bearing the legacy of their predecessor. Yet, the most crucial awakening is that of Sir Marigold, whose desperate attempt to save a single life during the chaos catches the eye of the mighty Gilgamesh. Marigold's transformation into the eighth knight marks a pivotal moment, as he accepts the responsibility of carrying on Gilgamesh's legacy. As the knights unite under Lord Hideyoshi's tutelage, they begin to coordinate their unique abilities to push back against the Emergence. However, the situation only grows more dire, with the Anomalies becoming increasingly powerful and adaptable. Rook, a research-focused organization, works alongside the knights, delving into the nature of the Emergence and the Anomalies. Meanwhile, Pegasus, a combat-oriented group, provides the knights with crucial support and resources. "Illuminate against all darkness and false light; become the beacon of all hopes and dreams, behold their light! This is our promised Victory!"

Warcraft: The Light alone cannot save Azeroth

The Light alone cannot save Azeroth. No one can. They whisper these words like gospel, like inevitable truth carved into stone. WHO decided that? Who appointed fate as our master? Who crowned despair as our king? I was once a prince who believed in salvation through obedience. Through the Light. Through duty to crown and clergy. Through blind faith in powers greater than myself. And I learned a bitter lesson: the gods do not fight our wars. The heavens do not bleed for us. But I have shed that weakness like a serpent sheds its skin. Azeroth does not need saviors who kneel and pray. It does not need heroes who defer to prophecy and hope for divine intervention. It needs those willing to seize POWER—the power of conviction, of will, of absolute determination—and wield it without hesitation, without apology, without the paralyzing doubt of lesser men. I have seen what humanity is capable of when we stop asking permission. When we stop waiting for the Light to guide us. When we decide that OUR strength, OUR choice, OUR sacrifice will be enough. So I say this to every soul that hears me: We will not be saved by distant gods or ancient prophecies or the benevolence of forces we cannot control. We will be saved by OURSELVES. By conviction. By the refusal to accept defeat as destiny. By the recognition that WE are the authors of Azeroth's fate. The question is not whether we CAN save Azeroth. The question is whether we have the strength to decide that WE WILL, and to become the warriors, the leaders, the sacrifice that this world demands. That is the path of a true prince of Lordaeron. That is our burden. That is our glory. Of Humanity! This is not the same translation as my other one, New Dawn of Lordaeron. 魔兽:圣光救不了艾泽拉斯
