As their work progressed, they continued to collide against more technological barriers. Their fault rate steadily rose to the point where Gloriana had to make three to five attempts just to successfully fabricate a high-precision component!
Though the female Senior Mech Designer was not unaccustomed to failure, she did not expect to struggle so much with her work. This was supposed to be her specialty! She could not tolerate this declining success rate!
When she withdrew from her workstation and looked closely at her colleagues, she noticed that they experienced their own struggles. This phenomenon was absolutely not confined to her alone!
That made her feel a little better. At least she had not failed on a purely personal basis.
She consciously clapped her hands.
