"No, my dear. I will go alone. You should go to class. If the teachers ask about me, you can explain it for me." Yu Qi said as she gently patted Feng Yue's head.
"Okay..." Feng Yue pouted unwillingly.
"Alright, my dear. I will go first. See you later." Yu Qi said before walking toward the police car and getting inside.
Feng Yue continued pouting as she walked to the classroom alone. Soon, she was surrounded by her classmates, who were eager to know what had happened yesterday. Feng Yue was still on friendly terms with her classmates, so she did not avoid them.
"Madam Sheng, Yu Qi's boss, was kidnapped yesterday. The police have already arrested the kidnappers." Feng Yue gave a brief explanation.
"I heard just now that Yu Qi asked the police whether the kidnappers confessed about the real culprit. That means someone ordered them to do it, right?" One of the students asked curiously.
"Well, I don't know much about that either." Feng Yue replied with a smile, though her eyes playfully glanced toward Wang Fu Ya, who was also watching her from the side.
Wang Fu Ya was startled the moment Feng Yue's gaze landed on her.
"I heard that the police are already arresting the real culprit. That's what I heard when Yu Qi was talking to the policeman." Another student chimed in.
Wang Fu Ya's face began to pale. She had clearly heard what the student said. If it were true, then her family. Her mother and her father might have already been arrested by the police. And soon, everyone would know the truth about their scheme to seize Yu Qi's money and even sell her into prostitution.
