They possessed a clandestine facility in nearly every single country, with at least one major research hub established per nation.
"How do you manage to continuously supply spiritual power to every single research base under your command? Do you possess other energy sources similar to the ancient tree from this facility?" Yu Qi asked, her brows furrowed in thought.
"I originally possessed about fifty ancient trees just like the one here. Unfortunately, a large number of them have already dried up and withered away over time. I only have around twenty-eight of them remaining. As for the research facilities that require spiritual energy to operate, I personally siphon the spiritual power directly from the trees, seal it within specialised containers, and have it transported straight to those bases. We also attempted to cultivate and plant the trees directly, but it seems they are completely incapable of developing properly in the outside world." Master Liang explained thoroughly.
