"So... you are even doing business with evil cultivators." Yu Qi said, her voice dripping with disgust.
"What kind of business?" Long Hui asked, his posture stiffening.
"Human trafficking." Yu Qi stated plainly.
She then let out a sharp, mocking laugh.
"You... you truly are no different from those evil cultivators." Yu Qi sneered at Master Liang.
"We are NOT the same! Don't you dare lump me together with those monsters!" Master Liang argued furiously.
He vehemently refused to be labelled an evil cultivator. In his twisted mind, he still held himself superior to them. He convinced himself that his scientific pursuits set him apart, believing that his grand objective justified his actions, even if the cruel, barbaric methods he used were virtually identical.
