"Minerva what is the current status of the warp drive. Did you regain control over it. If I am not wrong you were unable to access the drive's systems. I f you were able to access it we would not be here in this universe, right?" As Sam and his group sabotaged the warp drive Minerva was unable to access it. But since Minerva had quite some time since the came to this universe she should have been able to take over the system of the warp drive by now.
"Yes I was able to take back control for the most part. But the drive is showing some abnormality and the drive itself went through some changes that I do not understand." Minerva can now indeed control the warp drive to some extent. But the warp drive was still somewhat in a bizarre state from the transfer.
"What do you mean by some changes? Can you show me some pictures of the drive?" Shiro became interested in what Minerva was saying and wanted to see the drive's current state.
But he was sure to be disappointed. "I am sorry to say this but we can not directly watch the drive from here as all the cameras installed there were destroyed."
"Destroyed? How? Was it done by Sam and his group? And why did you not fix them until now?" Shiro can understand if it was only destroyed but the weird part was that Minerva still had not fixed it. She should not have any hard time fixing them. And it should be be one of the most important thing as the warp drive was the main core of this ship. So it needed to be under constant observation. "And how are you monitoring the drive if the cameras were destroyed?"
"I am able to observe the drive through multitudes of sensors and data. And the connection with the drive is still working so it was not hard for me to monitor it. If you want I can show you the live data along with the recorded ones from the past few days." Since She was not able to observe directly she applied a different method of observation than direct viewing.
"Not needed. I doubt I will even understand half of it if you show those data and graphs. I will leave all those stuffs to you and the girls." As he was not that adept at science and stuff he left those things to the experts that can deal with them in a better way than him who only had some half baked knowledge compared to the people present here. "I understand that you can work fine without the the cameras. But you still did not answer my previous questions." Shiro looked at Minerva waiting for some answers.
"I think it is better for you to see it with your own eyes than for me to explain it to you." Minerva did not exactly answer to what Shiro actually wanted to know. Instead she wanted Shiro to see the warp drive with his own eyes.
"Understood. Lead the way." Shiro was confused as to why Minerva could not simply explain everything. And why he personally had to go there. Since she wanted him to personally see whatever it was that she wanted to show, he did not ask for further clarification as he trusted her. He stood up from his chair and asked Minerva to lead the way.
