The late afternoon air hit me as I stepped out of the temple.
I stood there for a moment, letting my eyes adjust back to the light after the inner temple's torch-lit green.
Then the system chimed.
[New Quest — Visitors From Below]
[A group of elven hunters from Falhil have entered your territory. The High Priestess of Falhil, sensing critical changes in the mana flow, dispatched her son and a team of night hunters to locate the source of the disturbance.]
[Objective: Establish communication with the Falhil hunters and assess the scope of the node disturbance from their intelligence.]
[Reward: Relationship established with Falhil (Underground Elven Settlement). Additional random Experience and rewards pending outcome.]
I read the notification slowly.
Three weeks before the next purple moon, adding this beast migration due to the node disturbance, that would be disastrous.
