From NEET to Hero!

Oshima Yami had exactly three life goals: sleep, snack, and avoid all forms of responsibility. That was before his long‑lost mother kicked down the door to his gloomy NEET paradise, declared herself the principal of Japan’s most prestigious all‑girls Battle Maiden School, and “enrolled” him before he could even close his browser tab. Now Yami is the only guy in a school full of sword‑swinging, spell‑slinging warrior girls whose job is to fight The Blighted—monochromatic, moon‑pale nightmares with claws sharper than katanas and the terrible habit of showing up literally whenever they want. Worse, every Battle Maiden seems convinced he’s either a suspicious pervert, an accidental mascot, or some prophesied hero… and Yami is pretty sure “hero” was never in his skill set. Armed with nothing but his awkward social skills, unexpected light magic, and the iron‑fisted expectations of a mother who can expel him from life’s easy mode at any moment, Yami is forced to trade his comfy room for a dorm, his pajamas for a battle uniform, and his RPG fantasies for actual life‑and‑death boss fights. If he wants to survive homeroom—let alone the Blighted—he’ll have to grow from shut‑in to shining hero, all while dodging monsters, homework, and the terrifying possibility of… character development.
