"And now, we don't know what caused this monster incident, and to take care of it, we need to investigate the Yggdrasil."

'Yggdrasil… it's the great tree that Satou Hideaki headed to..'
Takayuki said in his mind.
"As you already know, that the Michio Takayuki guy here is still an amateur. He even has no idea how to fight"
Isshin Kira points out Michio Takayuki.
Takayuki is just confused and speechless.
"That's why I want him to be a part of the main unit on the investigation tomorrow."
The statement makes the other personnel argue.
"Eh!? Isn't that too early!?"
Takayuki said.
"What are you up to, Isshin Kira?!"
"You want to get this amateur involved in the real deal?!"
Trying to process their protests, Isshin Kira then says,
"I will take the responsibility! That's all!"
Isshin Kira then leaves the room and Yumeno just lets out a sigh.

After the meeting is dismissed, Takayuki heads to Isshin Kira in his office.
"What's with that look, shounen? You don't look good."
Isshin Kira asked.
"Is it really okay if I become part of tomorrow's operation? If I do, what can I do? I just think that I will hinder us."
Takayuki said.
"You know, to solve the problem doesn't only need power. You are really kind! You even determined to join us for everyone's sake, right? That's why I chose you! With someone like you, you can give the operation a success!"
Takayuki remained confused by Ishhin Kira's statement.
"But to head to the Yggdrasil, we'll encounter so many monsters, right? We can't deny that I have to be strong. That's why I hesitate whether I'll do much or not. Not to mention I am not good at fighting or such.'"
Takayuki said and that makes Isshin Kira pat Takayuki's shoulder and says,
"Listen up, shounen, never ever doubt yourself. If you keep it haunting you, you'll lose your humanity!"
"Losing humanity?"
Takayuki hummed slowly as he never has a will to be a human as what he wants is to be that guy, Satou Hideaki.

In the evening, Takayuki is taking a seat on the table in the canteen of the base and his head is still full of hesitation and he is looking at the ceiling. But, suddenly he sees a familiar girl as he has met her before.
"Do you like tea, Takayuki?"
Yumeno offers him a can of tea.
"Yes."
"Here you go."
She gives it to him.
"Are you still afraid about the investigation tomorrow?"
"Hmm, I still don't understand why Issho san signed me up on the main army for the mission."
"No worries, I'll protect you no matter what, Takayuki."
That makes him remain silent and impressed as he looks at her face.
'Yumeno san is great and beautiful. I like her.'
He said in his mind.
"Don't like to have the tea?"
"Ah! Right!"
He then drinks it.
"It's bitter!"
He sticks out his tongue and she just chuckles and asks,
"So, you like the sweet one?"
He just nods.
"It's not good for your health, you know!"
"As long as I don't consume too much, it's ok, right?"
"No idea!"
"Eh?! You don't know?!"
"Well, according to the book I read, sweet tea does bad."
"I... I see."
"Well, it'd be better if you drink tea with no sugar!"
"Ahaha. So you do concern about food and drink, eh? "
"Isn't that good? That will make us stay healthy!"
"You got a point there. But it tastes awful! Not to mention I am not a fan of vegetables."
"No, no! You have to consume vegetables especially fruits!"
At this moment he knows that she is a vegetarian.
"I see. Then I'll give them a shot."
"Really?! Then I'll cook some for you!"
"Ah, no need. I don't want to give you trouble."
"It's okay. Hehehe."
Seeing her chuckling, he can't just say no.
"So, you like cooking?"
Takayuki asked in wonder.
"Well, ever since last year. We had peace and I found out much stuff about cooking. Without even realizing it, I found it my hobby up till now!"
"Really? Why so?"
"They said... A woman who cooks will look more feminine."
"Eh? What do you mean?"
She is blushing and says in a low tone.
"For example, I want to cook something for a guy I love, and he will be happy, right? Then... Takayuki..."
"I see? So, you have someone you like that you want to learn how to cook?"
"Why did you ask that?!"
Yumeno argued.
"Eh, can't I? I am sorry! I don't know about that!"
"Um… I do!"
She said slowly.
'Huh? Why do I feel pain in my chest? What am I thinking? How foolish I am to want her to be my girl? Not gonna happen!'
He said in his mind.
"Why are you remaining silent like that? That makes the atmosphere awkward, you know?"
Yumeno said.
"Ah, my bad! Mind telling me what he is like? If you don't mind though."
He asked out of the blue with an awkward smile. He then realizes something that makes him panic.
'What the hell did I just ask?! What if she hates me?!'
He said in his mind.
After hearing that, she looks sad.
"He's gone…"
"Gone?"
She then remembers that Takayuki wants to be Satou.
"You do know who he is. He is the one that gave the miracle last year."
That surprises him.
'Yumeno san falls for Satou Hideaki?'
He said in his mind.
"Hey, Takayuki? How did you know about Satou Hideaki?"
She asked.
"It's because I saw him. Last year, when the incident was occurring, I was running away that I proceeded to a forest. And there, I saw him."
She just remains silent and he continues,
"Though the earthquake was heavy, he keep walking to the Yggdrasil."
Shen then says,
"And then, the miracle happened. I didn't expect that you saw him doing that."
"I admire him. I do wanna be like him but, can I be as strong as him? I dunno."
He said.
"In the end, you let hesitation take control of you that you think that you are nothing but a weakling, Takayuki?"
She said.
"Yup, I do, well it's just because I am garbage! I just can't do anything!"
She then pats both of his cheeks.
"That's not true! You are not garbage! If you can't do a thing, it doesn't mean you are worthless! You must be able to do something!"
That makes him remain silent.
"You don't need to be anyone else, just be yourself! Accept everything you have, and then, you can stand up!"
She said smiling at him.
He then recalls Yui's death and the time he saw Ryoichi blamed himself for that. He then clenches his hand.
"You are right! I just can't stay like this! The mission is worth trying! Probably, I can do something."
"Nice one."
She said.

On the next day, the WTM personnel is getting ready in the morning.
"You guys ready!?"
Isshin Kira asked.
"Yes, sir!!"
They responded.
"The fate of this world is on our hands! Let's commence the mission!"
Isshin Kira exclaimed.
Later, the WTM proceeded to Ichikawa city to head to the Yggdrasil in which is located in Yawata no Yabushirazu forest. As they proceed to the city, Takayuki is surprised by a fact he just knows.
"Eh? No way! So the only ones with supernatural power are Issho san and Yumeno san?"
Takayuki said.
"Exactly. It's because the Yggdrasil chose them. "
"In the other words, only a few people are bestowed upon miracle by the Yggdrasil."
Said one of the personnel.
Takayuki finally understands that the power that belongs to Isshin Kira and Yumeno Shion is called the miracle of the Yggdrasil.
"That's why the other personnel brings weapon, eh?"
Takayuki asked.
"Though, currently the strongest person is Yumeno while Isshin Kira is after her."
Said one of them.
"Ehhh!? Yumeno san is the strongest?!"
Takayuki is surprised.
"Without further ado, let's go!"
Said Yumeno going to Ichikawa with her army.
"Get ready! They are coming!"
Isshin Kira said getting ready as a horde of monsters are coming. They are advancing to Takayuki and the other personnel including Isshin Kira and Yumeno Shion.
"Their number is quite great! No wonder why Stephen Smith was troubled to send us a message back then!"
Isshin Kira smirked.
"Uwwah! That's the one attacking me before!"
Takayuki exclaimed and surprised to see the monster is coming at him.
"Stay behind me!"
Yumeno said who appears before Takayuki out of the blue and slashes the incoming monsters. Takayuki then finds himself being covered by the other personnel as if they are protecting him.
"Fire!!!"
Said one of them.
The WTM army manages to fire them and most of them get killed.
"It's a lie, right?"
Takayuki is impressed by their performance.
Some of the monsters are killed by Isshin Kira with his crystal power yet more of them are coming.
"That's right. There's no way we only get one wave. This is just not enough! At this rate, I have to give a great blow…"
Isshin Kira mumbled.
He then creates a quite big crystal which shape is like a great sword, then he takes a bow from his bag. He then fires the crystal with his bow at the horde of the monsters.
"How about this?"
The great crystal sword which is on the run shattered to pieces that kill so many of them.
"It's not done yet!"
Isshin Kira makes another sword and shoots it.
"Awesome! That's so cool, Issho san!"
Takayuki is stunned in awe. For the blow launched by Isshin Kira, many monsters were killed that it made a path to the Yawata no Yabushirazu forest.
"You are the amateur who joins the fray?"
Said one of the personnel who looks young to Takayuki.
"Yes…?"
"Then we are the same! Actually, this is the first time I fight against monsters!'
He said smiling.
"Eh?! Then why are you here?!"
"It's because I want to fight for the world! That's why I have to keep moving forward!"
He said smiling.
"I see, then looking forward to working with you!"
"Then, do you fight for the same reason as me?"
"No, I just do what I can."
Takayuki said.
'Though I am nothing but to be protected here.'
He said in his mind.

As they are proceeding to the Yawata no Yabushirazu forest, Isshin Kira realizes something that he stops his army out of the blue.
"Wait a minute!"
Isshin Kira said.
"What is it!?"
Yumeno asked.
"It has a kekkai on!"
Isshin Kira said.
"What is Kekkai…?"
Takayuki asked.
"It's a barrier magic that prevents anyone to proceed."
"It's because the Yggdrasil is a sacred tree and worshipped by many in the first place."
"That they know about the Yggdrasil is being protected by kekkai."
Said the other personnel.
"This kekkai is the different one. Only monster can pass through."
Isshin Kira's words surprise everyone.
"Then, what do we do?"
Yumeno asked.
"That's why I bring Michio Takayuki here!"
That surprises Takayuki.
"Eh!? Me!?"
Takayuki said.
"Takayuki, try to touch it."
"But…"
"Just do it."
As Isshin Kira said so, Takayuki tries to touch the barrier.
"Ugh!?"
After touching it, the barrier breaks and that surprises everyone.
"Eh!? Why!?"
Takayuki remains confused.
"As I thought, you could do it!"
Isshin Kira smirked.
'What is this Michio Takayuki guy anyway? How could he do that?!'
Yumeno asked herself.
Thanks to Takayuki, the WTM can proceed to the Yawata no Yabushirazu forest.
"I can sense it! The stronger ones are coming!"
Yumeno said getting ready for a fight.
They can see so many golem monsters made in roots incoming.
"I'm going! Hiya!"
The novice unit is trying to shoot the golems.
"you idiot! The monster has a main weakness-"
The crossfire is a failure that makes them end up getting killed by the golems.
"Damnit! How dare you!"
The other personnel shoot the golems and get killed for being reckless.
"Ah! Ahh! Ahhh!!"
Takayuki just screams in terror by seeing a part of the personnel get killed by golems for protecting him.
"This is bad! It's not only one, but-"
Isshin Kira said while dodging the blows launched by the golem, and one is about to attack Takayuki. The monster then gets thrown by the gale cast by Yumeno.
"Get away from here!"
Yumeno said to Takayuki.
The novice units, even the other ones Takayuki doesn't know are dead because of him.
"No way! No way!"
Takayuki exclaimed in terror by seeing those golems, but slowly he walks behind.
After Yumeno defeats the monsters, she sees a masked guy with 5 horns from afar.
'What is that? Somehow I feel I've seen him somewhere?!'
She said in her mind that she rushes to where the guy is.
"Wait, Yumeno! What are you doing?!"
"I'll get that masked guy. Probably he is the one behind all of this!"
After saying that, she leaves Isshin Kira and the other personnel who are overwhelmed by the golems.
"Dammit!!"
Isshin Kira said in pique as he sees so many casualties caused by the golems.
In the end, Isshin Kira uses his power to make a crystal shield to protect everyone including Takayuki.
"I'll crush all of you!"
Isshin Kira said making many crystals and shooting all golems in a row and that saves everyone's life.
"All of you, rest assured! I am going after Yumeno Shion and wait for my signal!"
Isshin Kira said to his men.
"No way! This is not a game! This is reality! If I fight, I will... Die."
Said Takayuki freaking out. Hearing that, Isshin Kira pulls Takayuki's collar and hits Takayuki's abdomen hard.
"Ugh!!"
"Till when you'll stay like that?! Doing nothing won't do anything! If you wanna fight, stand up! If you don't, you won't get what you want!"
Isshin Kira argued.
"I... I... Can't do a thing! In the end, being protected. I'm so worthless!"
"I told you! Get a grip!"
"There's no way I can fight that monster! It's weird to have a commoner like me in a fight in the first place! I am not a superhuman like you! I am just garbage!"
Takayuki exclaimed.
"Do you wonder why I brought you here?! It's because you have something I don't."
Isshin Kira said.
"What do you mea---"
"For now, just rest assured! If you are ready, get back here! Remember what I said well!"
"It's reckless! No wa--"
"I won't say it anymore, just stop being hesitant! If you keep at it, you won't be a human! "
"But, Issho san! I've never become a human in the first place--"
Isshin Kira then says,
"I believe in something I don't have, Takayuki! You are not garbage for me! You are just a shounen full of hesitation yet wanting to reach his dream- Right, you are just like an eagle!"
Then Isshin Kira continues,
"I don't forbid you to run away, but I am sure you will return as I believe you can solve this problem!"
That's what Isshin Kira said to Takayuki, then the guy just runs away cowardly.
