Chapter 30 - Chapter 30 – Diplomacy to Falmart

Third-person POV

Across the Ginza gate to Ichigaya, Kazufumi and Motoi, as well as Leo and the six MPC leaders, replayed the combat exchange between the MPC agents and the JSDF in the Alnus Base across the gate. "Wow…" Motoi whistled, "...since when you guys had HK416 assault rifles?"

"Oh, we authorized the trade of these weapons to each other's nations within the MPC sphere," Oguz responded.

"Isn't Heckler and Koch a German firearms manufacturer?" Kazufumi asked.

"Yes, but Turkey and Brazil had arms dealers who had transactions with us," Paul replied.

"Don't worry though," Leo added while nursing a cup of hot 3-in-1 coffee in a blue mug, "they made sure that they operated with all the legal documents they needed to operate legally."

"What about US or Russia ships blocking your ships carrying these guns from German ports?" one of Kazufumi's subordinates asked.

"We made sure they pass through waters not within American or Russian ship jurisdictions," Paulo replied.

"And, we made sure that all payments for passing through canals like the Suez Canal are fully paid," Leopoldo added.

The Japanese were astonished at yet another dynamic between MPC nations.

Meanwhile, the MPC parliamentary attendants are packing up their first boxes full of Japanese treats and souvenirs. Juan changed his plans and sent his first Balikbayan box to Tolentino's Senate President office via airmail.

In the detention facility, the detained Triad Power agents were having their evening meal of food from the MPC nations. As they ate up in the mess hall under the watchful eyes of the Japanese facility guards and MPC agents, Sam commented, "You know, guys, I felt a lot of embarrassment when that American envoy just threw his shoe at President Leo and President Paraskevas."

Roger then nodded. "Yeah, me too. They are professionals, but what he has done is essentially a child's tantrum. I am feeling so embarrassed by their lack of professionalism now."

Even Dimitry and Chen agreed to that, feeling a similar feeling of embarrassment on their home countries' "professional", desperate envoys.

???'s POV

Merhaba, I'm Bartu Kuşçu, and I am a Turkish MİT agent from Turkey, and it's been 2 days since the Tokyo summit. To be honest, arkadaşlarım, the fallout of the US, China, and Russia was, as Frederico would remark, inevitable. On YouTube, the media showed the burnout and inactive rooms of the MSS, SVR, and CIA. I believed that, based on how many officers that the cameras had managed to catch a glimpse of, half of the staff was absent shortly after we had turned off the mixed music loops two days ago. Some of my fellow Turkish and other MPC agents were updated on the latest stock market fluctuations in the Big Three nations, except that the most common we looked into via YouTube and the internet is the Dow Jones and New York Stock Exchange.

As we had breakfast of our cultural food and drink comforts, I chuckled at another downward direction of an American multinational corporation. "Man, greed really saturated their desire for higher profits and put them on autopilot for these things."

"Ja, evet," Rahman replied while sucking a noodle string of his Indomie meal, "and I believed my friends in Jakarta had remarked how the stock market of the Netherlands, our homeland's former colonizer, was better than the one in the US because they aren't one of the Big Three!"

James doubled over a lot, before taking a bite of his sweet Maritozzo bun the Italian agents had baked for us. "Tama po ikaw, Lestari, greed really not only ruined the poor but also the rich when the rich overstepped their moral boundaries and slammed by a shoe!"

After breakfast, we had an escort mission for Itami-san to be a diplomat to Falmart's capital. While his comrades were in awe of his white toga as his diplomatic outfit, Federico and a handful from his Italian team took notes of it while comparing it to Roman togas back in Roman times.

Hehe…

The trip to the capital was an affair of diplomacy. We made sure that any foolish inhabitant who might have discriminatory views on Itami or the JSDF will get their discipline from us MPC agents.
