"So be it..." Fuyōna said, knowing he had no choice other than to fight now that the Tsuchikage had refused to listen to his words.
"If it is a war you want, then allow me to give you one," Fuyōna said, entering sage mode right away, clearly not messing around with the old geezer.
Ōnoki watched in surprise as Fuyōna's appearance changed, not sure what he was about to do, taking a defensive position as he floated into the air, watching as his troops charged forward.
"Here they come men! Get ready!" Shikaku shouted, watching as the army of Stone ninja charged toward them.
"No, stand back!" Mangetsu shouted, knowing that if they got in Fuyōna's way, they would be killed.
"Sage art, frozen graveyard..." Fuyōna said as he clasped his hands together, channelling a huge amount of sage chakra into the jutsu.
Ōnoki noticed the air go still for but a moment before the ground under his feet froze in an instant, flowing like a river of ice as it froze the entire Stone army at once, showing a tremendously powerful jutsu display before every last one of them was frozen solid, encased in an icy death and creating a frozen graveyard, as the name stated.
Ōnoki and a few of the other Iwa shinobi that had been at a high enough level had been able to survive the powerful wave of ice that had frozen the rest of them, causing the remaining few to look at the result in terror.
"H-How can one person do all of this?" One of the Iwa ninja said, losing the will to fight at the demonstration.
"Y-You monster..." Ōnoki said, not being able to believe his eyes at the sight of his dead men.
The Allied forces also watched from behind Fuyōna, watching with wide eyes at the amazing power he had just displayed.
"S-So strong..." Shikaku said almost speechless at his power.
"He just took out 500 men in an instant..." Inoichi Yamanaka said, also shocked at the speed at which he had taken the army of Iwa shinobi out.
"First a tailed beast... And now a full army." Choza said, knowing that this was not a man to be trifled with.
"That's our Mizukage! No one can stop him!" One of the Mist shinobi cheered out, causing the other Mist shinobi to also cheer in victory.
Ōnoki frowned, doing something he had not done in a long time. He got serious.
"I will end you, even if it costs me my life!" Ōnoki roared as he suddenly created a large particle-style sphere that he fired at Fuyōna, going for the kill without holding back.
Fuyōna quickly prepared hand signs getting ready to defend himself from it, seeing that its speed was very impressive, even against him in sage mode.
However, at the last second, Ōnoki split his Dust release sphere in two, causing them to both zoom passed Fuyōna, heading toward the allied forces behind him, wishing to return the favour for what he had just done to his men.
"You dirty bastard!" Fuyōna yelled, quickly placing his hand onto the ground, turning the entire ground under the allied forces feet to ice, causing all of them to fall through it not a second before the Dust release spheres would have turned them all to dust, completely destroying everything else that had been trapped inside of them.
"Why you!" Ōnoki yelled as he suddenly appeared behind Fuyōna, having used his super lightweight boulder jutsu on himself, allowing him to decrease his body's weight and move at much greater speeds.
"Take this!" Ōnoki yelled as he smashed a huge fist of stone into Fuyōna's arm, forcing him to block the attack rather than dodge it due to its speed.
"Super weighted boulder jutsu!" Ōnoki yelled, increasing the weight of his attack massively, hitting Fuyōna with everything he had, sending him flying back through the air with the force of it.
Fuyōna flipped back through the air, having been able to block the attack thanks to the increased strength and defensive abilities that Sage mode gave him. Fuyōna could also sense that Ōnoki had already appeared behind him, getting ready to attack him again with another powerful hit.
"Let's see how you like a taste of your own medicine, old man," Fuyōna said as he created a small sheet of ice behind him, causing Ōnoki's attack to travel through it, coming out of another small ice mirror next to his face, resulting in him punching himself with the same power he had hit Fuyōna with a moment ago.
"Arghh!!!" Ōnoki yelled, getting sent flying through the air and crashing into the ground, hitting it hard and bouncing a couple of times before coming to a stop.
"Not a bad trick, but that won't work on me while I have Sage mode," Fuyōna said, catching another of Ōnoki's punches that came from the side of him, being able to sense that he had used a substitution jutsu at the last moment.
Ōnoki had put all of his weight and increased said weight by an insane number thanks to his super-weighted boulder jutsu, however, hitting Fuyōna with everything he had, watching as the Mizukage was able to tank the attack with a strong wall of bone armour he had created along his arms, only cracking them slightly.
"You certainly pack a punch!" Fuyōna yelled out, impressed by the attack.
"Stone golem!" Ōnoki yelled, creating a huge and hulking monster to form from the ground, towering over Fuyōna, getting bigger and bigger before it lifted its arm to crush him.
"Let's see you stop this one!" Ōnoki shouted as he commanded the Stone golem to attack.
Ōnoki quickly pulled back, letting the Stone golem attempt to crush him while he charged another particle-style square in his hands, lining his aim up.
Fuyōna smiled as he watched the incredible display of earth release, knowing that Ōnoki was most likely the strongest out of all the current Kage, except for himself and perhaps the Raikage. Still, given his Dust release, he was more dangerous than the Raikage, knowing that he was capable of destroying armies or even cities with such power if he wanted.
Fuyōna dodged the huge fist of the stone golem, dashing to the side before he jumped onto its arm and started running up toward its neck.
"It's no use!" Ōnoki yelled, creating another smaller stone golem from the larger one's arm, using it to attack Fuyōna.
Fuyōna ducked under the stone golem punch before he smashed through the thing with a strong spinning back kick, reducing it to rubble.
Ōnoki had now fully charged his atomic dismantling jutsu, unleashing it in a powerful pillar-like shape as it headed straight toward Fuyōna like a laser beam.
"Here goes nothing," Fuyōna said as he jumped into the air, flipping over the pillar while it cut through everything it touched, literally turning everything to dust, including the stone golem that Ōnoki had used to try to trap Fuyōna with.
"I've got you now!" Ōnoki said, seeing that Fuyōna had nowhere left to go while he fell through the air, turning his attack toward him.
However, Fuyōna simply slipped into another ice mirror, avoiding the atomic dismantling jutsu before it could hit him, only wiping out the ice mirror which allowed him to appear behind Ōnoki in an instant, having already created an ice mirror there for him to appear out of.
"When did he!" Ōnoki said, not being able to move in time to avoid Fuyōna's attack, leaving him with only one option.
Fuyōna flew through the ice mirror in the blink of an eye, amazed that Ōnoki was even able to react at all, thrusting forward with a bone that was protruding from the palm of his hand, aiming to skewer Ōnoki with it.
However, thanks to Ōnoki's super lightweight boulder, he was able to dodge the tip of the blade, feeling it rip through his clothing and miss his skin by a hairs length.
"Atomic dismantling jutsu!" Ōnoki then roared, creating another square that covered Fuyōna, trapping him inside of the cube, trying to activate it faster than he could escape.
However, Fuyōna simply slipped back into an ice mirror, stepping out of one in the air with his arms crossed over his chest, watching Ōnoki from above.
"You certainly are strong, Ōnoki. Your long life has provided you with a great amount of battle experience. However, this is not a battle you can win." Fuyōna said, getting his attention.
"Whether I win or lose is irrelevant, so long as I kill you, I will gladly give up my own life!" Ōnoki said, clenching his fist as he looked at Fuyōna with contempt.
Fuyōna knew he had no other choice but to give this everything he had.
"Then this is the end for you, Ōnoki," Fuyōna said, closing his eyes for a second before his body suddenly burst into a blue flame, becoming completely covered in his tailed beast chakra cloak, causing his chakra and power to raise to new heights, having combined it with his sage mode.
"What is this..." Ōnoki asked, having never seen anything like it.
However, Fuyōna didn't say anything before he appeared in front of the old Kage, slamming a punch into his gut, and doubling him over from the force of the attack.
Fuyōna didn't stop his attack there though, quickly jumping ever so slightly off the ground, turning his body and putting all of his weight into a spinning back kick that sent Ōnoki flying through the air before he crashed across the ground, caving a trail of destruction through the mud and rock before finally coming to a halt.
"This power is not something many ever live to see," Fuyōna said, moving at extremely high speeds, standing over Ōnoki in the blink of an eye, watching as the old man tried his best to move.
"It's no use, after those two hits the majority of your bones are broken," Fuyōna said, watching as he still tried to lift his hand to use his Dust release, resisting to the end.
"It's a shame, I did not wish to kill you, Ōnoki," Fuyōna said while he stood over him, his chakra cloak bubbling away with power.
"Earth style, four pillar sealing!" A voice suddenly yelled, getting Fuyōna's attention as four earth pillars burst from the ground, attempting to seal him where he stood as a lighting net cast itself around Fuyōna.
"I forgot about the riffraff..." Fuyōna said, seeing that some of the higher-level Iwa shinobi had survived his frozen graveyard jutsu, having kept hidden and out of the way until now.
Another of the high-level jonin quickly dashed to where Ōnoki was lying on the ground, grabbing his body before he raised his fingers and started sinking into the ground, turning it to mud.
"I won't let you escape!" Fuyōna said as he froze the earth pillars around him with a wave of his hand, causing their sealing jutsu to crumble before he broke free of the lighting net.
However, the Stone shinobi had disappeared into the ground completely, taking Ōnoki with him.
"Darn it..." Fuyōna said, not being able to stop him due to letting his guard down.
"Don't let him get lord Tsuchikage!" Another of the Stone ninja yelled, gathering four of them around Fuyōna as they were about to hit him with a combined jutsu.
"Earth style, crushing earth jutsu!" They all yelled, creating a powerful combined earth style, clearly of a very high level in an attempt to crush him as two large domes of solid rock burst forth from the ground, with spikes protruding from their centres threatening to squish him between them.
The earth style smashed into one another, creating a powerful tremble throughout the ground and kicking up a large amount of debris.
"Did we get him?" One of them asked not being sure.
However, as the dust settled Fuyōna could be seen standing unharmed in front of the aftermath of their jutsu, not seeming bothered in the slightest.
"N-No way..."
"This guy is a monster."
"Ice bubble prison..." Fuyōna said softly as he blew gently on his hand, sending a stream of bubbles through the air toward the Stone ninja, causing them to watch in surprise.
"Get back, don't let those bubbles hit you!" One of the Iwa shinobi said, jumping back and retreating to a safe distance.
However, the bubbles moved faster than the others had anticipated, watching as they hit their body, popping and part of them where the bubble hit.
"Arghh!!!"
"No!!!"
Three of the Stone shinobi had been hit by the bubbles, being unable to avoid them and as a result, having been frozen to death.
Now only one remained having already turned tail and ran for it, jumping into the trees and moving as fast as he could to get away from Fuyōna, not wanting any of his smoke.
Fuyōna watched him go, deciding it would be best to leave at least one survivor, knowing he would tell the rest of the Iwa shinobi of his power, hoping it would be enough to deter them from trying anything again soon out of fear.
As for Ōnoki, Fuyōna wasn't too happy about him getting away. Still, he knew that if he needed to he could kill him another time. Besides, he would be out of commission for a while due to the beating Fuyōna had given him.
With that Fuyōna let his chakra cloak and sage mode fade away, returning to normal before he looked over at the devastation of the battle, seeing all of the frozen corpses that covered the area.
"Lord Mizukage!" A voice yelled from the distance, getting his attention.
Fuyōna looked over and could see that Mangetsu and the other allied forces had made their way back to him. Due to Ōnoki's attempt to kill them all with his Dust release, Fuyōna had been forced to transport them all away a fair distance using a large and powerful ice mirror, costing him a lot of chakra.
"Looks like it's over," Shikaku said, seeing that Fuyōna was the only one left standing.
Everyone surrounded him, praising his power and ability to save them and win the battle.
"Kannabi bridge is ours!" Fuyōna yelled, getting a large victory cry from the allied forces, cheering now that the battle had been won.
"Lord Mizukage!" Another familiar voice said, getting his and the other's attention.
It was Kaga and the force that he had been leading to take over Tachi bridge.
"Kaga? Make way everyone," Fuyōna said, getting the others to clear a path for him.
"Lord Mizukage, please you need to see this!" Kaga yelled, rushing over to him out of breath as he pulled out a scroll.
"What is it, Kaga?" Fuyōna asked, not liking the look on his face as he noticed he was way too serious.
"It's the Raikage, sir. Word has just reached me by a hawk that he has launched an assault against the village back home." Kaga said, causing Fuyōna's eyes to open wide as he opened the scroll to read the report.
"That's not possible... Ao would have contacted me if that was the case." Fuyōna said, not understanding.
However, as he read the scroll, he could see that Ao had reported some kind of sensory-type ninjutsu was being used to block any and all transmission jutsu, resulting in him having no choice other than to send word by hawk.
Fuyōna also saw the time and date that the message had been written, seeing that it had taken the hawk five hours to fly at full speed to Kaga's location.
"Kaga, Mangetsu, you handle things here, I need to return at once," Fuyōna said, not wasting any time as he clicked his fingers, creating an ice mirror, fearing the worst.
"Y-Yes sir." They both said, watching as he stepped into his ice mirror and disappeared, both hoping that he would make it in time to stop the Raikage from attacking the village.
