"You can't be just saying that." Julian Rhodes looked expectantly at Scarlett Xavier and said, "What? Now that you know I'm leaving, you can't bear it? I don't mind you canceling your sister-in-law's invitation to stay home with me."
"In your dreams." Scarlett Xavier stared at the computer, continuing to busy herself with her work.
Julian Rhodes watched her from the side, "Do you really have so many things to do every day? With that one crappy shop... haven't seen you make much money. It feels like you're working harder than me."
"Is this about money?" Scarlett Xavier said, "There's actually quite a lot to do. Unlike you, who makes a lot of money with just a single surgery. I'm finishing what I have to do tomorrow, then I can go out and play with peace of mind."
"Alright then." Julian Rhodes didn't stop her.
In the morning, Scarlett Xavier got up early, packed his luggage for him, and put everything inside.
