Nina rummaged through her little backpack and pulled out a sheet of drawing paper.
Her drawing skills seemed to have improved quite a bit, at least better than when she wrote down everyone's phone numbers in her notebook.
She drew an amusement park.
Nina said, "June has always wanted to go to the amusement park, but never had the chance, so I thought I'd give this to him as a gift."
Scarlett Xavier said, "Actually, I haven't been to an amusement park either."
Never went as a child. Later, growing up, there were always endless things to do, where's the time to go?
Nina looked at Scarlett Xavier and said, "Then let's go together sometime."
"Sure."
Jane Cheney stood at the door, looking at the two of them as if she saw two children.
When she first met Scarlett Xavier in Solisle, she noticed that Scarlett was someone who could really play with kids.
Sometimes she could play with the kids' toys for ages, incredibly childlike.
But this kind of Scarlett seemed quite interesting.
