Liza tries not to think about it, but she can't help herself. She turns to Nadia and asks, "Tell me, did I embarrass myself while I was intoxicated?"
Nadia rolls her eyes as she tries to remember that night. "I don't know exactly. I was heading back to the apartment when I saw Lemuel carrying you like a princess to his car after talking with Mr. James."
"Princess carry as in?" Liza imagines Lemuel holding her in his arms, and the thought makes her cheeks turn red. 'No, I shouldn't jump to conclusions!'
"Is that all?" she asks, worried she did something embarrassing while drunk. She looks at Nadia, who nods to reassure her.
"What if I actually did something inappropriate?"
Nadia shrugs. "Why don't you just ask Lemuel what happened that night? He's the only one who can really answer your questions and put your mind at ease."
Liza bites her bottom lip, thinking about Nadia's advice. Her face turns red as she mutters, "I don't know if I have the courage to do that."
