That high pitched voice that'd recognize anywhere
Turning my head just in time for Reese to crash into me
"H..ug...too t..ight" I managed to say in between gasps
"Oh sorry I missed you" Reese said
She had always been a big hugger and a tight one at that
"Let's go" I heard the rude Greek god say
"Oh no you don't " I wasn't going to just leave him
"You can't even apologizes Mister"
His partner whispered something to him that made him frown
"Sorry happy now" he said then giving signals to men in Black that I didn't even notice where around him
He left...I mean I saw him leave but he left as fast as he came more like he was running from something
"Uhm Ash I think we should go" Reese said suddenly looking pale
"Why what's wrong?"I asked her
"Nothing just come on hurry"
"Uhm ok let me get my luggage"
OUTSIDE THE AIRPORT
"Care to explain, hmm why did you suddenly suggest we leave" I said turning to Reese
"Ashlee listen that man is bad news okay?
Now where the hell is that damn driver of mine"
"Oh c'mon your kidding me, bad news as in ??"
"Finally" she said entering the car "get in"
The damn woman wasn't even listening to me!
HUGH POV
So while I was enjoying her argument Gary gave me bad news and I mean real bad news, I just had to apologize to give the little woman some peace something that I've and would have never done
I had other things to think about
Things like who the heck dared to steal from me
We had big plans I and my old man...ohh and how I'd so much love to rip up someone's throat
Someone betrayed us they stole the files of the project I was to work on with Cooper Industries
It was a secret operation not many people new about it, I had to think fast luckily my men caught the fucker but he already gave the files to whosoever he was working for
"Sir we're what are we going to do now?"
Gary asked
"Make sure my old man doesn't find out about these"I frustrated I knew the old man would freak out
"Yessir, anything else?"
" Cancel the board meeting and make a detour we're going to play a little game with our new friend" I smirked

"Forget about that rude man did you get the apartment?"
"Well Ash baby listen okay so I may have maybe gone a little over board in the apartment stuff"
"Reese what did you do" I knew what she meant, she always does this
"So listen you can't always put the blame on me yunno, so mum heard you when you said o should look for an apartment for you and it just so happens that her friend's husband has a pent house that was on sale and she may have or maybe not but .probably bought it for you "Reese said in one breath
"I knew I should have booked a hotel before coming here" I said face palming myself
"Heyyyyy and what would the media say about the CEO of Cooper Industries living in a hotel ahhh shame on you Ash
Shame on you" Reese said dramatically. She was or is a bit of a drama queen
"Well then tell aunty I say thank you but for now take me to me so called home I need a hot bath right now and some sleep "
"Yeah yeah we're here!!!!"she announced
Stepping into the lobby the place wasn't that bad or fancy but one could tell the furnitures and paintings on the wall cost a lot and I kinda like the white in the lobby hall it made the place look like a little heaven
"I need the keys to room 506 please"she told the eagled eye lady scanning us up with her thick glass frame that looked as if it would fall of any moment from the bridge of her nose
The place was huge and I got to know that they were just 4 penthouse worth millions
Getting my keys and going off to find my pent house and damn this place deserved it's name White Haven, all white doors silver furniture glass you've got to be kidding me
The owner of this place definitely has some perverted mind cause I could literally see my next door neighbor house the walls where see through glass doors
I mean the only good thing here was the curtains blocking us from seeing each other's bedroom and thank Goodness
My entire furniture was a mixture of black and white ahhhhhh and the bathroom was a combination of my room and office in my former apartment
I really need to get out more
Reese left to help me settle some things and I decided to play the spoilt rich brat
Soaking myself in the hot tub with a bottle of red wine
Ahhhhhh the life I was fucking missing
