Zion Caldwell smirked lightly, "You still have that fiery temper."
Tessa Caldwell glared at him, "I'm warning you, whether your mom and my dad get divorced is none of my business, and I don't want to know their progress. But regardless of their outcome, there is absolutely no possibility between you and me. Whether they divorce or not makes no difference. I hate you and will never like you, remember! Never!"
She used her free hand to grab the ashtray on the coffee table and raised it high, "Let go or I'll smash it."
Zion Caldwell's face darkened, but he finally released his grip.
Once free, Tessa hurried away from him, afraid he'd snare her once more.
Before she could take two steps, Zion's cold voice came from behind.
He said, "Tessa, if I make Faye lose everything and have him kneel before me, will you like me then?"
Tessa whipped around, looking at him in disbelief, only to think that he was out of his mind: "Where do you get the confidence to say something like that?"
