He didn't just respond with a word or two; instead, he asked back a question.
Renee Langdon rested her head on his shoulder, her voice faint like a whisper, "He didn't tell me voluntarily; I asked him myself. In Italy, I accidentally overheard your conversation with Chase. I wanted to know why Chase said you were with me to get revenge on him. So when Chase returned to find me, I asked him, and then he told me about Sherry."
She sighed softly, "When I saw the script, I was surprised. How could the story be so similar to Sherry's? Later, when I found out you were the male lead, I thought you must be especially good to Sherry."
Quinn Leroy gently asked, "Do you believe him?... Was I with you for revenge?"
