The King was later elected through voting and Adam was picked handly by high voting.
"Now let's start," said the teacher
They started the rehearsal and everyone acted the play well.
It was already break period and Charlotte was waiting for Vivian to come join her at the cafeteria.
"Hi Charlotte," said Iris and Ivy
Charlotte was surprised to hear them greeting her.
"Hi," replied Charlotte looking at the two girls dumbfounded
"Oh You're alone. I see."said Iris sneering at her
"Yeah, what do you want?"asked Charlotte looking at them suspiciously
"Oh she's missing her madam,"said ivie mockery and iris laughing in agreement
"Excuse me," entered Adam from the backseat, he moved closer to Charlotte
"Oh Adam,"said Charlotte happy to see him
"Hi Charl,"replied Adam looking at iris and ivie wearily
"See ya later. Let's go Ivy." said iris sneering at both Charlotte and Adam. The two girls left their presence and walked majestically to their seats.
"Hi Adam," said Charlotte cheerfully, she was happy they left them alone
"Hi Charlotte, hope those two didn't say any words to you?"asked Adam concerned
"They did actually but I can ✋ them."
"I thought as much."he said thoughtful
"Never mind them. Thank you."she said cheerfully
"Those girls are troublesome. So what're you eating?"he asked
"Rice and plantain,"she said halfway, and caught sight of Princess standing. She was carrying a tray of banana, juice and snacks. She moved closer to them and said
"Can I join you guys?" asked Princess mischievously looking intently at Charlotte. Adam was looking at Charlotte if she doesn't want Princess to sit down with them
"Okay,"replied Charlotte reluctantly ,unsettling about her mischievously smiling
"Thank you,"said Princess smiling happily and she turned to her "I am sorry Charlotte once again about the pool please forgive me."she said quietly and looking at Charlotte eyes pretending. Charlotte knew Princess was lying she knew she purposely push her out to the pool she pretended to ignore it.
"It's fine Princess, all is in the past now."said Charlotte half smiled
Princess was glad to hear that and she's smiled wickedly inside. "Now's the plan.", she thought inwardly mischievous
They were all eating and Caleb entered inside at the moment.
"Hi guys,"said Caleb, he was holding a coke in hand and he sat beside Princess
"Hi Caleb."said Adam, Charlotte and Princess
They all continued eating before Princess quickly broke the silence
"Guys my birthday party is coming up on next week Tuesday!"screamed Princess excited
"Okay,"replied Caleb and the rest were looking at her astonished
"And I would like to celebrate it at the lounge."said Princess smiling face and Charlotte was bewildered the way she addressed them as her friends
"When did we became friends with her?" thought Charlotte inwardly and she was displeased with her hypocrisy attitude
"Really,"asked Caleb again
"Yes and am inviting everyone I mean everyone."she said cheerfully looking at both Adam and Charlotte eagerly
"Okay that's good,"replied Adam nonchalantly
"Charlotte hope you will come to my birthday party?"asked Princess hopefully
"I don't know yet,"said Charlotte uninterested
"Please do, please."said Princess pleading with her eyes fixed on her
"Okay,"said Charlotte indifferent
"Is that a promise ?"asked Princess expectantly
"I'm not promising you anything if I will come I will let you know."said Charlotte softly
"I know you are still mad at me Charlotte and I said I'm sorry."sobbed princess, pretending to cry in front of them all.
"I am not mad at you anymore Princess."said Charlotte
"If you're not mad at me please come to my birthday party and I will know you're not mad at me anymore."said Princess slylishly
"Okay fine I will come." said Charlotte reluctantly, Princess scream for joy and Vivian came inside at the moment
"What is happening here guys and why is Princess sitting down here?" asks Vivian glaring at Princess angrily
"I know you're still mad at me Vivian and I'm sorry."said Princess
"You are not sorry you are just pretending that is who you are." said Vivian malicious
"What?"said Princess red in face
"Yeah,"said Vivian eyeing her angrily
"It's okay Please let it go." said Charlotte
"Thank you Charlotte." said Princess "And you can invite Vivian to my birthday party too she's invited,"said Princess smiling slylishly at Vivian and she stood up triumphant "See you guys later!"she went out from from the presence working majestically
"What insolent!" said Vivian displeased and turned to Charlotte "What was she talking about?" asked Vivian
"Birthday party,"said Charlotte
"She invited you?"asked Vivian dumbfounded
"She invited us,"said Caleb grinning
"This is not funny Caleb,"said Vivian disdainful
"I am serious ask them,"said Caleb frankly
"Yeah, he's right."said Adam
"So are you going, I mean are you all going?"asked Vivian disbeliefing
"Why not,"said Caleb smiling
"And Adam?"she asked looking at Caleb disapproval
"Yeah,"said Adam
"And Charlotte?"she asked hoping she would say no
"Yeah,"replied Charlotte
"I am disapointed in all of you,"said Vivian angrily at them all "Have you forgotten what she did to you Charl?" she said directly at Charlotte disapprovingly
"I know Vivian she begged me and,"said Charlotte gently
"And so, you will tell her you can't be friends with her period.,"interrupted Vivian angrily at Charlotte
"We're sorry Vivian, but let bygones be bygones,"said Caleb softy
"Charlotte have forgiven her and we should too."said Adam gently
"Please spare me that. I can't be friends with a pretender."said Vivian malicious arms crossed
"I know you don't want her to join our circle it's fine but she invited us to her birthday party. It will be cruel if we rejected her."said Adam continued
"It will look we have not forgiven her because of the pool."said Caleb softy
"It's just birthday not study group please Vivian try and understand."said Charlotte, pleading
"Viv girl,"said Caleb playfully
"Vivian come on please."said Charlotte
"It's fine,"said Vivian reluctantly
"We are all going?"asked Charlotte stunned
"Yeah,"said Vivian half smiling
"Break is over let's go inside."said Adam and they all left the cafeteria.
On Tuesday afternoon, exactly 5pm, some of the science students were already at the lounge sitting and having drinks. On the table were Malta, viju milk, holdandia yogurt, biscuits and snacks. Music was playing softy on the downstair. Some students were dancing while some were chatting.
Adam, Charlotte, Vivian and Caleb entered inside the room.
"Hi guys, thanks for coming."said Princess excitedly
"Happy birthday,"said everyone
"Thank you I'm glad you all came please come over here." she beckoning on the front seats for them.
"What a drama queen,"said Vivian quietly to herself
They all sat down at the front seats and Princess continue
"Attention please, I am happy to see you everyone here tonight, to celebrate with me thanks once again.
"You're welcome,"said everyone
"There are foods to eat and drink."said Princess and everyone clapped for her.
"Anyone for Coke, fanta, malt?"asked Samson holding the drinks
"I want Coke."said one girl
"I want fanta."said another girl
"Adam which one do you prefer?"asked Princess flirting, handling Adam the soft drinks
"You can give me malt, thank you."said Adam
The rest students collected the some of the drinks and started eating. After awhile, Princess broke the silence and said "Attention guys. I will be pairing you guys since I'm the host.
"What?"said Vivian and Charlotte mouth widened
"Yeah,"princess smiling slylishly
"Are we not to spin a bottle or something?"asked Idris
"Let's not spoil the fun, please."said Samson smiling at princess and she smiled back
"Charlotte and Caleb, Vivian and Adam and the rest can pair each other."said Princess
"I thought we would spill a bottle,"said Charlotte displeased
"I wonder,"said Vivian arrogant
"Please let not spoil the fun."said Princess teasingly
"It's okay, Princess."said Caleb
"Thank you."said Princess smiling slyly
"Uhm,"said Charlotte reluctantly
"It's fine Charlotte, I am with you." said Caleb softy
Charlotte stood up from her seat and sat beside Caleb. Adam sat beside Vivian and the rest pair each other.
"Perfect let the Game start."said Princess smiling
"Yeah,"shouted some of the kids.
