Alex sighed in relief as he watched the Mind God leave. There was no chance that he was ever going to engage in a private chat with someone who could read him like a book. It was one thing if he could only distinguish truth from lies based on what a person said.
But what if, secretly, he could also distinguish them based on how the person reacted as well? He was the Mind God. It wouldn't be too far of a jump to consider him able to read minds, in a way.
Alex was more than happy to refuse this person.
As he let out a sigh, the final person among that group, the Blood God, walked up to him. Instead of leaving, she stopped before him.
Alex waited for her to speak, but the woman chose to remain silent for a long few seconds, slowly looking over his body as if she had his permission.
"Senior?" Alex called out. "What are you doing?"
"Your Blood aura," she said in a soft voice. "How is it so strong?"
