Alex frowned upon hearing the Sky God's words. "Why do you think that's strange?"
The Sky God looked toward Bladedance for a moment, as if considering something, before turning toward Alex.
"Your Energy feels weak. I assume you used your Primordial Energy sometime in the past few years."
"I did. I had to use it to form Qi lines in my sword," Alex said. "Had I not, my sword wouldn't have been made."
"I see. Then you understand the effects of a loss of Primordial Energy," she said.
Alex's face turned slightly serious, and he nodded. "It was horrible. For a second, the world seemed to lose all light. It was as if everything that was good in my life had been lost and there was no more reason for me to live at all."
Bladedance's eyes narrowed with a grim look. "You felt that?"
"Briefly," Alex said quickly. "It was very brief. Just a few seconds, and then I handled myself. But yes, it was a horrible feeling."
