Alex looked at the man before him once again, though this time in an entirely new light.
Although not in name, the man before him was Bladedance's disciple as well. He couldn't be sure how much he had been taught by her, but to be taught even a little by the Sword God meant he was greatly talented.
"I see," he told the man. "She never told me much about anyone she trained before me."
"Well, she didn't properly train me, so that's why she doesn't consider me a disciple," Swiftslash said. "I, for one, very much consider her a master. The only reason I don't say it is out of respect for her."
"I see," Alex said. "Then I'm very honored to be training with a senior disciple brother of mine."
Swiftslash's lips turned into a big grin, and he rubbed his nose a little. "You know, I've heard a few things about you, but those must all be false."
"Are you two gonna keep talking or what? Train!" Bladedance shouted.
"Right," Swiftslash said. "Prepare yourself. I'm attacking again."
