In a palace with a Celestial Spirit vein underneath it, the region of space within was far stronger than almost anywhere else. As a result, attacks that might tear space elsewhere didn't do much inside there at all.
And yet, despite that, Alex's attack tore along the seams of the fabric of reality, creating a split into the Void that failed to heal before the attack reached Swiftslash.
Swiftslash had been surprised by Alex's previous attacks, as well as the fact that he had already learned Sword Heart. That was one of the biggest hurdles a person usually had as a swordsman, after all.
And yet, this was somehow more surprising than everything else.
The biggest reason for that was that Swiftslash understood the source of this attack. He understood the inspiration behind it.
And yet, the attack Alex had created was much stronger than either one of them.
