Fei Chen adjusted his clothing, one motion at a time. He spoke slowly, his voice low.
"Xi Lei, you've been away for too long. It seems you've forgotten certain things."
He paused, then added,
"You are not to touch Su Ye."
As he finished speaking, Fei Chen's calm eyes met Xi Lei's gaze.
The scar on Xi Lei's face made him look even more ferocious.
His dissatisfaction with Su Ye had started from their very first meeting, when his master had been grievously injured because of her.
Later, he had heard stories about her—how she had even used a male prostitute to humiliate his master. This only fueled his resentment.
