The girl, who had been standing at a safe distance, had completely forgotten to cover her eyes. Her delicate fingers, once tightly pressed against her lashes, now hung limply at her sides as she gawked at the unfolding nightmare. Her tiny red lips parted in shock, opened as wide as they could go, her breath caught somewhere between her throat and chest.

Never in her wildest dreams had she imagined that her proud companion, a Gold Xuan realm expert, a so-called peerless talent of his generation, would be subdued in less than half a move, and by a shameless, half-naked stranger!

The contrast was almost too much for her mind to process.

Although Jun Xie's face was caked with mud and dirt, making it hard to discern his features, it was still obvious from the lines of his jaw and the vitality in his movements that he was shockingly young... maybe even younger than Xiao Feng Wu.

And yet, how could he be so overwhelmingly powerful?

Her dainty frame trembled like a reed caught in a storm. She wanted to scream, but couldn't find her voice.

Jun Xie, meanwhile, strode forward in short, deliberate steps, the ragged cloth around his waist restricting the full length of his stride. But the menace in his approach, the sheer pressure that oozed from him, made it seem as though a mountain were pressing down with every step.

"What is your name, and where do you come from?" His voice lashed out like a whip, each word heavy and domineering. "You dare come to Tian Xiang City and provoke me, ah? You think you're digging a grave for me? Wrong! You're digging your own! You wanted to teach me a lesson and then kill me? Really? Listen carefully—"

He leaned forward, eyes gleaming with a savage glint as his tone dropped to a bone-chilling growl.

"You're only alive right now thanks to my good nature. Otherwise, I would have hacked you into pieces and delivered them to your grandmother's doorstep one by one!"

The venom in his words was so sharp that even the air seemed to freeze.

Jun Xie spat out his curse with disdain, then turned on his heel, clearly intent on leaving. He had no patience for wasting more time here.

But behind him, Xiao Feng Wu, clutching at his ribs and reeling in humiliation, screamed hoarsely. "How dare you! Don't ever let me see you in Silver Blizzard City, or else I won't let you live! Boy, pray I never find you again! I will slaughter your entire family! If I don't make them flee their own house in terror and butcher them like dogs, then I am not a Xiao!"

The words slashed through the air like a blade, cruel and dripping with malice.

Jun Xie's foot halted mid-step. His leg hovered in the air before slowly settling back down with deliberate heaviness. His head turned, his eyes narrowing, and a dangerous gleam burst forth, cold, sharp, and utterly merciless.

"Silver Blizzard City?" His voice was low, but it carried the chill of a winter storm. "You… come from the Silver Blizzard City's Xiao Family?"

The atmosphere grew thick, suffocating. Even the maiden felt the change, her chest tightening under the suffocating pressure of his aura.

"Yes! That's right!" Xiao Feng Wu spat blood, but managed to force himself upright, a twisted grin spreading across his battered face. "What now? Are you afraid? It's too late! Unless you and your entire family kneel on the ground and beg me for forgiveness, I'll slaughter them in front of your very eyes!"

Jun Xie's face was devoid of rage, but it was darker than thunderclouds. His lips curled faintly, a cold, almost mocking smile forming.

"That's good," He muttered, voice dull and deadly. "That's very good..."

'Since your arrogance rests on that family name… then I am not a friend if I don't punish you here and now. You will wish you hadn't opened that mouth of yours.'

Xiao Feng Wu, mistaking Jun Xie's calmness for fear, puffed up his chest. The aura of superiority returned to him like a phantom shield.

"Kneel before me!" He commanded, his tone brimming with false grandeur. He imagined this stranger would surely bow, begging for mercy, granting him a way to salvage his dignity.

But what he received was...

"Kneel before you, my ass!"

Jun Xie's hand whipped out faster than lightning, cracking across Xiao Feng Wu's face with the force of a thunderclap.

The young man staggered back several steps, blood spraying from his mouth as his body spun, his balance shattered.

Before he could even regain his bearings, Jun Xie was upon him. His fist crashed into one eye, then the other, swelling both into dark bruises until his face resembled a grotesque panda.

"I'll show you! I'll show you!" Jun Xie bellowed, fists pounding relentlessly. "You dare think Silver Blizzard City makes you great? Ah?!"

Another strike to the ribs, another kick to the chest.

Crack!

"You threaten me?!"

Bang!

"You think you can bully me because of your family name?!"

Bang! Bang! Bang!

"You want to destroy my entire family?!"

"I'll destroy YOU!" Jun Xie roared, voice ragged with fury. "I'll fucking destroy you! I'm not just going to beat you! I'm going to erase you!"

His fists descended like a storm, each blow punctuated by curses.

"You want me to kneel and apologize? Hah! Not even if your grandmother dropped dead at my feet!"

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!

His hand seized Xiao Feng Wu by the hair, yanking his battered head up with brutal force. Jun Xie's eyes burned with savage fire as he spat in his face. "You bastard! You bastard! You bastard!"

With a furious shout, he slammed Xiao Feng Wu down into the ground.

The earth quaked beneath the impact.

Then, as if possessed, Jun Xie repeated the action, lifting, slamming, pounding, again and again, until blood smeared the dirt and Xiao Feng Wu's body went limp.

Finally, with one last swing, Jun Xie hurled the youth several meters away. The body hit the ground with a sickening thud, lying motionless, unconscious, uncertain whether he clung to life or not.

But Jun Xie did not relent. His figure blurred, and in the next instant, he was upon the fallen body once again, raining down more blows without mercy. Blood splattered, bones creaked, and Xiao Feng Wu drifted in and out of consciousness, only to be yanked back into agony each time by the sheer brutality of the assault.

It was a horrifying sight.

A proud young man, once hailed as a prodigy, was reduced to a broken sandbag, while atop him stood a half-naked fiend who seemed to have lost all sense of restraint, his movements savage and feral.
