"Miss, you stayed in the sea water too long yesterday. Drink more soup, this will drive out the cold…"
Aunt PA stood by, watching over and urging Alice Robinson.
Alice leaned against the headboard, holding the bowl of soup, frowning. "It kind of tastes a little bitter."
Aunt PA said, "I put in some Chinese medicine. It will be a bit bitter, but it'll help your body recover quickly."
Alice muttered, "But there's nothing wrong with me…"
"You still have to drink it even if you feel fine. The doctor said you must get rid of the cold from the seawater, or you can't be discharged."
Alice pouted. "But it's so bitter."
"It's only a little bitter. Pinch your nose and you can finish it in one go." Aunt PA tried her best to persuade her.
Alice cast a pleading look at Chester Robinson beside her.
In front of a lover, he was clearly back to being the serious older brother again. He said mildly, "Don't be childish."
Alice stuck out her lips. "Then you feed me."
